The numbers Daniel Jackson is putting up haven't existed in college baseball. Until now.
The Georgia junior became the first catcher and only the sixth Division I player ever to record 30 home runs and 25 stolen bases in the same season, while hitting .396 with 84 RBI along the way.
He also led the SEC in batting average and home runs, was named the SEC Tournament MVP as the Bulldogs claimed their first-ever SEC tournament title, and is now a finalist for both the Buster Posey Award and the Dick Howser Trophy. Behind the plate, he's been equally locked in, committing just two errors all season and posting a .995 fielding percentage.
Historic. Relentless. The full package. ⚾️
