🎆 Red, White & BOOM! presented by Evergy is back! 🎆 Get ready for Wichita’s biggest Independence Day celebration as the downtown skyline comes alive with a spectacular fireworks show over the Arkansas River on Saturday, July 4!

🌟 Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. (immediately following the Wind Surge game at Equity Bank Park) 🎶 This year’s show is choreographed to music! Download the Pyrocast App or scan the event QR code to sync the soundtrack with the fireworks for the ultimate viewing experience.

🍔 Food & Festivities start at 6 p.m.
Come early, grab dinner from local food vendors, claim your spot on the lawn, and enjoy an evening of community, family fun, and patriotic celebration.

Another successful Hook A Kid on Golf camp is in the books! This amazing group of young golfers learned the game from the ground up under the guidance of our golf professionals. From grip and swing technique to course etiquette, they built a strong foundation while gaining confidence, skills, and a love for the game. Throughout the five-day camp, participants explored putting, pitching, driving, and even experienced play on the golf course itself. Best of all, every camper is heading home with their own set of clubs to continue their golf journey long after camp ends. Thank you to our campers, families, and instructors for making another unforgettable week possible!

☕🍩 What a way to kick off Golfer Appreciation Week! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our four courses this morning for donuts and coffee.

The fun is just getting started. Here's what's ahead:

📅 Tue. 6/2: Gifts from our staff at all four courses (time varies, keep an eye out!)

📅 Wed. 6/3: Free rotating snacks 11AM–2PM at MacDonald Golf Course

📅 Thu. 6/4: ShotSuite Day! Live swing tech demos, a live DJ, contests & giveaways at the Steve Hatchett Learning Center located at the MacDonald Driving Range, 1–5PM. Shout out to First Tee Greater Wichita for letting us use a portion of their beautiful facility.

📅 Fri. 6/5: Wichita Brewing Co & Pizzeria Night at Auburn Hills, 3–7PM: Caddy Shack lookalike contest is at 5:30pm. Additionally - live music, prizes & the grand Passport Contest drawing at 6pm!

Starting at 8:00 AM, stop by any of the four Golf Wichita courses for complimentary donuts and coffee — while supplies last! golfwichita

Tuesday, June 2
Beginning at 8:00 AM, Golf Wichita staff will be handing out tokens of gratitude at all four courses (while supplies last). There's also a TBD tee time for golf with Councilmember Ballard at Arthur B. Sim Golf Course.

Wednesday, June 3
From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, swing by the clubhouse at MacDonald Golf Course for a free snack — the offering rotates every hour, so there's a reason to keep coming back (while supplies last).

Thursday, June 4 – ShotSuite Day
From 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Steve Hatchett Youth Golf Campus Driving Range at MacDonald Golf Course, ShotSuite brings Full Swing Technology to Golf Wichita. Expect live demos, swing tips, contests, giveaways, and plenty of ShotSuite swag.
