Kamyrn Perez was recently awarded the Boys and Girls Club "Youth Of The Month " by the WF Kiwanis Club. Kamyrn is a big helper around the house. You'll find him picking up after himself, cooking, cleaning the yard, and taking out the trash. Kamyrn expresses his gratitude to God by praying each night before he goes to bed. He's just completed the 1st grade at Southern Hills Elementary where he maintained B's and above on his report cards. He says his favorite subject is math and would like to become a professional football player when he grows up. He's only in his first year at the Southeast branch, but is already become very active in Club activities. Other members say they love playing games with him because of his good sportsmanship. Congratulations Kamyrn!!

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club was at Scotland Park Elementary this week to present three students with the Kiwanis "Kool Kids" award. Kool Kids are students who are recognized for going above and beyond in the classroom. They play leadership roles, are kind to everyone, and always willing to help their teachers and other students. Winners were Julian Flores-Trejo, 4th grade, Ximena Valdez, 1st grade and Journi Elliot, 4th grade. Congratulations to these outstanding students!

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club held their monthly meeting today with our PIE partners at Scotland Park Elementary School. Our Kiwanis Club hosted a Fajita Bar at lunch in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week. A great time of food and fellowship was had by all.

The Kiwanis Club of Wichita Falls was proud to celebrate Quinten Sedberry Jr. as April's Boys and Girls Club " Youth Of The Month ". Quinten is a member of the Southwest branch of the Boys and Girls Club. Only in his first year, Quinten has already become very active in Club activities. Staff states that " Quinten is sweet, caring and respectful, and always willing to help others". Quinten attends City View Elementary were he works hard to maintain all A's, has received perfect attendance awards and has earned other school recognition awards. He loves helping around the house with various chores and can be seen caring for his dog. Congratulations Quinten!!

The Kiwanis Club Of Wichita Falls was proud to present Felicity Hibbs, with our March 2026 "Youth Of The month" award. Felicity attends the Southwest Branch of the Boys and Girls Club. While in her first year she has become very active in club activities, and the staff states that "in the short time that she's been here, she has shown excellent characteristics of a club member. Felicity regularly attends church and participates in multiple church activities, and is committed to a daily prayer time. Felicity is a first grade student at Fowler elementary school, works hard to be a good student and maintains all A's on her report card. She states that "her favorite subject is math". Felicity is a great helper around the house and even assist her grandparents in taking care of their backyard.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis club was proud to present two Scotland Park, students with their January and February Kool Kids Awards. January's winner was Billy Martin, a third grade student in Ms. Berend's class who describes Billy as being respectful to all students and staff. He's a great helper, who is responsible, friendly, polite and an all-round great student. February's winner is Scarlett Mertens, a 2nd grade student in Mrs. Cody's class. Described as an excellent student who always has perfect behavior, and is just a joy to be around. Congratulations to both of these "Kool kids"!!

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club is proud to announce that Carlos Lopez is our February 2026 Boys and Girls Club "Youth Of The Month". Carlos is 8-years old and attends the Northwest Branch of the Boys and Girls Club. He's a great helper around the house as well as helping out in his Grandfather's shop. He's an active member of First Baptist Church, and a second grade student at Kate Burgess Elementary, were he maintains all A's on his report card. His favorite subject is reading and he helps out a lot in the classroom. Carlos states that when he grows up, he wants to become a police officer.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club is proud to present Leah Sal with our January 2026 Youth Of The Month. The daughter of Rachel Aname, Leah attends the Southeast branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs. Leah attends Our Angel Seven Day Adventist Church where she is a very active member. She's a third grade student at Fain Elementary where she one day would like to become a teacher. Leah was selected for the award because she is smart, responsible, and enjoys doing new things. She's a friend to all, has a great attitude and is very respectful. Congratulations Leah!

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club was proud to present Grayson Collins with our December 2025 Boys and Girls Club"Youth Of The Month" award.Grayson is a second grade student at City View elementary. Grayson stays busy, he's a big help at home, an "A" student, and spends his Sundays at Legacy Church Of God. Grayson is a helper with school choir and has received the school "Mustang Of The Month" award. Only in his first year with the club, he's already become very active. His club director says "Grayson is a wonderful kid with a bright future ahead of him, and we can't wait to see how he grows." He said that when he grows up, he would like to become a police officer.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club presented Scotland Park Elementary with an $1,800.00 donation towards student sweatshirts that will go into each students Christmas bag, and will be delivered by Santa this Friday. The sweatshirt provide winter warmth and are decorated with the Scotland Park logo.
