“This one isn’t about before and after pictures, it’s about what you can’t always see. My Transformation didn’t start in the mirror, it started in a place of heartbreak.
Last year, life hit me with a loss I never saw coming. I lost someone that I never imagined I would. I believed we would both grow old, together. In an instant, everything changed. I was shattered..trying to hold myself together while falling apart inside. On the outside, I smiled, but inside I was navigating one of the darkest seasons of my life. I didn’t feel like myself. The energy, the drive-it was gone. Even doing what I always loved, working out and teaching classes, felt impossible. Looking back, there was a stretch where I could barely show up because I was hurting.
But healing has a way of finding you. Sometimes through people, sometimes through purpose.
When I found Empower, something began to shift. Day by day, I found myself wanting to show up again.
Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. This community has given me the strength to keep going, the courage to feel and still move forward, and has reminded me that I am not alone.
I’m still grieving and I always will, but I am also rebuilding. And for that, I am deeply grateful to Empower and to this amazing community.
This is what Transformation looks like for me:
Not perfection....but progress.
Not forgetting ..but learning to live again.
Not just surviving...but slowly and intentionally healing..”
