Congratulations to the Central Columbus Ponytail 12U softball team!

These young ladies have earned a spot in the 2026 Dixie Softball Ponytail World Series Championship tomorrow at 9:00am in Town Creek, NC.

They will face Charlotte County from Virginia.

The Central Columbus program consists of players from West Columbus and Whiteville. This team has not only made our communities proud, but the entire county.

If you can go in person, please do. If not, please cheer them on from your home or work.

We also want to give a shout out to the South Columbus Belles 15U team. They fell just short in their World Series in Florida today, but it doesn’t take away from the fantastic season they had. We wish them safe travels home and want them to know the entire county is proud of them too.

Inspired by the resilience and unconditional love of her mom, Lauryn has grown into a strong, confident young woman who continues to push through every challenge with grace and determination. Her advice to trust the process, step outside your comfort zone, and simply be yourself is something so many people need to hear.

What a day. 🤍

To say we’re grateful would be an understatement. Every dancer, every family, every teacher, every helping hand behind the scenes… thank you for pouring your hearts into this season. Watching these girls take the stage and shine so boldly is something we will never take for granted.

This year hasn’t come without challenges. There were moments the enemy tried to bring stress, exhaustion, doubt, and pushback against this studio and the people in it. But time and time again, God reminded us who is truly in control.

Through every obstacle, every long rehearsal, every tear, every triumph — we chose to keep praising.

And that’s exactly what this recital was about. Not perfection. Not pressure. But using the gifts God gave us to glorify Him and celebrate the joy of dance together.

No matter what comes against us, Simply Dance will continue to stand strong, love hard, support one another, and always… “Praise the Lord.” ✨

We are so proud of our dancers and so thankful for this village that continues to believe in our studio. What a beautiful reminder that God’s goodness always shines brighter. 🩵💗
