Gold flags are up!!!

Gigantic thank you to Dawn Allen Dawn Allen for her generosity in donating a ton of time and expertise to sew these, after her daughter Sierra did the sewing for the white flags!

We will eventually have red flags as well to help mark that layout. However, anyone trying to navigate reds for the first time should know that all baskets for reds are shared with whites, while playing from the shortest tee on each hole.

League tomorrow (Sat) at 10 AM! Random doubles. $5 for members, $10 for non members, optional $2 ace pot. Layout will be (mostly) whites.

Hole 15 gold is now playable.

Gold Updates:
13 of the gold holes are now playable! A layout has been added to udisc that is called “Gold” and features those 13 with the remaining 5 being white holes for now. Those 5 will slowly change to gold as we build the remaining holes.

The 2 most recent additions:

Hole 6, Par 4 549 feet
This is a brand new hole and it’s pretty epic! It’s a long downhill shot, and players will likely throw a neutral mid or fairway off the tee to try to stay down the center and glide all the way down the hill to a good spot to approach the green. The last 100 ft to the green is tight and guarded, but with the overall length of the hole not being long for a par 4, advanced players may find that with a pure shot they can even get a look at eagle. However, missing the fairway off the tee could be a disaster. Making this hole has been a giant undertaking and I couldn’t have done it without the help of local heroes Greg C and Zack F!

Hole 17, Par 3 475 feet
This hole plays from the same tee as white but goes to a yellow basket on the left side, almost pin high with the other basket. This will play as a par 3, as this layout is designed for advanced/pro players and this will be reachable for big arms with a righty backhand or lefty forehand.

All of these holes are a work in progress as we continue to clean things up and break things in. We are also continuing to add signage and arrows. Hope you enjoy!

League is on for today! Teeing off at 10 AM.

Looks to be windy with light rain off and on. Likely playing golds but will take players’ opinions as well.

If you hadn’t heard, our Sat morning league that we do in the Fall (and parts of Winter) started last week!
The hourly forecast keeps changing for tomorrow. We’ll make a call by 8 AM and post here whether it’s on or off.

Our weekday evening leagues have officially concluded for the season! That means it’s time to kick off our Fall Saturday morning league!

We will start tomorrow - Sat 9/19 at 10 AM! Format is the same as Weds league. Random doubles, $5 for members, $10 for non members plus optional $2 ace pot. Ladies and players over 65 receive starting strokes.

Layout will be mostly whites with a couple golds mixed in. Hope to see you in the morning!
