Pulse Dance Fitness Studio An all levels dance based group fitness studio for adults in West Des Moines, IA. We believe that exercise should be effective and fun!

Our mission at Pulse Dance Fitness Studio is to provide heart pumping, exhilarating and challenging fitness classes set to the beat in a fun & motivating atmosphere. We encourage women and men to enjoy and (gasp!) even look forward to their workouts. We celebrate strong & healthy bodies. We create positive vibes through dance and music which lifts our students’ moods transcending the studio walls.

We are welcoming to all levels of dancers and non-dancers and encourage students to get out of their comfort zones and challenge themselves in new ways. Pulse is a dance based fitness studio. We offer 45 minute dance inspired fitness classes in the formats of Pulse Dance, Pulse Barre, Pulse Sculpt & Pulse HIIT designed to get your heart rate up and sculpt your muscles all while being set to the beat of energizing, curated playlists. Most of all, we believe exercise should be FUN!

Summer is here, and with it comes some exciting updates at Pulse! ☀️

Check out the updates to our Summer Schedule, including a few class time changes, fresh class offerings, and several new instructors joining our team. We can’t wait for you to meet them and experience the energy, talent, and personality they bring to our community.

As our community continues to grow and evolve, our schedule naturally adjusts, but our mission remains the same: creating a fun, welcoming place where women can move their bodies, build confidence, and connect with one another.

We have so many fun things in store and can’t wait to dance with you!

Bingo cards are at the front desk counter for students. One bingo card per student if participating. Write both your first and last name on the card. Mark up your bingo card after an applicable class and then put the card back in the file to keep stored at Pulse for convenience.

Join us for a Restorative New Moon Sound Bath with Certified Therapeutic Sound Practitioner, Amy Marie of Golden Aura Alchemy. .alchemy

🧘‍♀️ This sound bath is a sanctuary for deep rest. An invitation to step out of autopilot and into presence, where the body can settle, the mind can quiet, and the nervous system can feel safe enough to rest.

✨ You’ll experience the pure frequencies of crystal quartz singing bowls, the soft shimmer of koshi chimes, the rhythmic ocean drum, and the soothing flow of water chimes and more, each supporting your body in slowing down, unwinding, and returning to balance.

No experience is necessary - you are warmly welcomed just as you are, ready to relax and receive.

When: Sunday, June 14th from 6:00 - 7:00PM
Location: Pulse Dance Fitness Studio
What to Bring: Yoga mat (required), a blanket or pillow for extra coziness (optional)
Price: $40 per person. This is a guest hosted workshop - membership discounts do not apply, but Pulse members are welcome to join.
