🏈 West Rutland Recreation Department Summer Flag Football Instructional 🏈

The West Rutland Recreation Department is excited to offer a Summer Flag Football Instructional running July 27–31! This program will be held for 1+ hours each evening and is a great opportunity for kids to learn the fundamentals of flag football, improve their skills, stay active, and have fun with friends.

✅ Mouthguards are mandatory
✅ Cleats are optional
✅ Open to players entering grades 3-6

Whether your child is curious about trying flag football for the first time or is already a flag football enthusiast, this camp is a fun way to build confidence, teamwork, and athletic skills in a positiv environment.

We hope you’ll join us for a great week of football fun! 🏈☀️

Join us Thursday June 4th from 5–8 PM at the West Rutland Rec for some delicious ice cream! The weather is looking great, so stop by for a sweet treat while enjoying an evening at the ball field.

Yesterday, the West Rutland Recreation Department and the West Rutland Library partnered to bring VINS to the Town Hall. K–3 students, along with West Rutland residents, were invited to come and enjoy the presentation. It was a great opportunity for the community to experience an engaging and educational wildlife program together!

Join us Thursday, May 28 beginning at 5:00 PM during baseball practices and games for some delicious ice cream treats!

You do not need to be participating in baseball to purchase ice cream, everyone is welcome! ⚾🍨
