Avant-Garde Dance Academy It is our primary goal to teach students the art of dance. Dance genres offered include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Folklorico, Hip-Hop, and Pom.

We strive to inspire values such as self-discipline, strength of character, diligence, and resiliency. Our mission at Avant-Garde Dance Academy is to deliver quality instruction by providing dance classes for students beginning at the Kindergarten level. In the mindset of excellence, our studio offers diverse classes to students who wish to experience dance recreationally or professionally.

Michael Jackson Camp had us working hard to learn each step! These dancers were taught the original choreography to “Beat It”, “Thriller”, and “Smooth Criminal”. Each day started with a warmup, review of the dance, and then a lesson in new steps. We also watched the Michael movie with pizza, popcorn, and snacks! I had so much fun with these students and can’t wait to see them soon! Clips coming soon!

Disney Dance Camp is almost complete 😭 These girls are so bright and funny…today’s conversation—“I’m the smartest in my school because I know what 3 + 3 is!” 🤣 I love it! These students will perform for their parents tomorrow in the prettiest dresses and costumes!

If you didn’t know, now you do! Take part in our inaugural Competitive Dance Team Meeting for 2026-2027! Breaking down cost, contests, dates, fundraisers and so much more at this meeting so do not miss out! Students will need to have completed at least 1 full year with AGDA (between 2021-2026) prior to auditioning and be enrolled in Level II, III, or IV. We ask that parents bring their dancer along for the meeting on Thursday, June 11th at 6:30pm!! See you soon!

Specially designed with drill team dancers in mind, this class will help dancers improve their splits, calypso, pirouettes, leaps and more! Miss Rod & Miss Zavannah will guide each dancer through correct movement and ex*****on to improve their performance quality! Only 12 spots open!
