Track held up OK during the heavy rain over the weekend and the plan is to race this Friday evening June 12th.

With that please notice the change on our schedule. I switched a division out. We were to have the Pro4’s but I switched to MODS for this Friday. With very low pre registration cars in both divisions I made a choice. All cars that were not pre registered will be charged a fee since we offered free registration previously.

Hey Dirtworm Dan it’s 4:30 on Friday afternoon and I am a little behind schedule, but not too much. Next Friday I hope to be better with my watering.

Just a reminder…. No racing tonight at the track. 🥲

It’s been a rough couple weeks here and I did not have the time to post anything about our new partners for our 2026 race season.

Aroma Joe's Coffee Plymouth, NH is our 2026 Victory Lane partner. They will be doing giveaways and more throughout the summer. Not gonna lie, Dan wanted the free coffee coupons for himself.

Jeremy Hiltz Excavation from Bristol, NH. Their team has been great to discuss the new partnership with and learn about sponsorships and such because they give to many local charities and community programs. And provide a great safe work environment for their team, and clients.

Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is involved with motorsports in so many ways throughout New England. With many tracks, and race teams. If you like motorsports, you need to be part of this racing financial institution. The team at the Plymouth,NH branch is wonderful to us.

We know that Dan would want us to open our 2026 race season this Friday…

We have made the difficult decision to postpone this Friday’s 2026 season opening event.
We know drivers, teams, sponsors, and fans are looking forward to kicking off the 2026 season, and we apologize for the inconvenience with this decision.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support during this time. We will provide an update once we make a plan.

Today we say goodbye to a man that this track meant more to him than I could ever write.
He met the best friends of his life at a racetrack and his presence will be missed by so many he touched.
His passion for dirt racing, his willingness to help where needed, gave him the many friends he had here at this little place he loved.
This place will be missing someone special this summer.

Please keep Dan’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

THANK YOU Dirtworm Dan for everything you gave to Legion Speedway. You will be missed but never forgotten.

All the tears shed this week would make a nice sloppy wet dirt track for hot laps when we return to racing.

We will post something very soon on a plan going forward.
