Last night was a reminder that belts are never given — they are earned.
Every stripe, every rank, and every promotion represents countless hours of hard work, discipline, perseverance, and the courage to keep showing up when things get difficult.
Congratulations to all 42 students across our Little Kids, Big Kids, and Adult striking programs who earned promotions. Your growth is a reflection of the effort you’ve invested both on and off the mats.
In martial arts, every new belt comes with a greater responsibility: to give back what was given to you. As you continue your journey, remember to support those coming up behind you, lead by example, and help your teammates grow.
None of this happens alone. Thank you to our incredible Sh**un community for showing up and supporting one another. To the teammates and friends who push each other every class, and to the families who sacrifice their time and energy so their loved ones can pursue their goals—thank you.
Your support makes all the difference.
As a coach, I’m incredibly grateful to be in the position I am and to share this journey with such an amazing group of people. What we have built together is special, and nights like this are a reminder that Sh**un is more than a gym—it’s a family.
