Sometimes we need to challenge ourselves, step outside the box & try movements that push us mentally and physically.

Today’s workout finisher: Russian twists with battle ropes.

Not only does this movement light your core on fire, but it also forces multiple muscle groups to work together at once. Your abs & obliques are working overtime to stabilize and rotate, while your shoulders, arms, upper back & even your legs help control the movement and power behind the ropes.

It’s a killer upper body finisher because it builds endurance, coordination, stability & strength all in one exercise. By the end, your heart rate is up, your core is burning & your upper body is completely taxed.

Don’t be afraid to switch things up sometimes. Growth happens when we challenge ourselves in new ways.

Did you know most people don’t fail because they aren’t capable…
They fail because they let excuses become louder than their goals.

I’ve been there too.
Tired. Unmotivated. Mentally checked out.
Telling myself “I’ll start Monday” or “I just don’t have the energy today.”

But growth starts the second you stop negotiating with your excuses.

🔥 Here’s what’s helped me:

1️⃣ Be honest with yourself.
Are you truly too busy… or are you avoiding discomfort? Progress doesn’t happen inside your comfort zone.

2️⃣ Stop searching for perfect conditions.
You’re not always going to feel motivated. Show up anyway. Even a messy workout, a short walk, or one healthy meal is still progress.

3️⃣ Remember why you started.
Your goals don’t care about your excuses. The results come from consistency, not perfection.

At the end of the day, nobody can do the work for you. Plain & simple.
But the awesome part? You’re capable of way more than you think you are. 💪🔥

Let’s talk about something real… losing motivation.

Because YES — even as a coach, I go through it too!

The last 3 weeks? They’ve been far from perfect.
Workouts have been on & off. Some days I showed up strong, other days it was the bare minimum… and some days it was just choosing to rest not do anything besides maybe walking.

But here’s the thing — I still showed up.

Not for perfection. Not for progress pics.
But because I owe it to myself to stay healthy, to keep moving, continue to inspire others & to keep choosing ME! Even when the motivation wasn’t there.

Motivation comes and goes. It’s not something you can rely on forever.
What matters more is the commitment you make to yourself.

So if you’re in a rough patch where it feels hard, where your routine feels off, where you’re just “doing what you can”…

REMEMBER 🙌🏼

➡️ That STILL counts.
➡️ You’re STILL showing up.
➡️ You’re STILL moving forward.

Now it’s time to reconnect with your “why.”
Why did you start?
How did it make you feel?
Who are you trying to become?

That’s where the fire, drive & passion comes back.

We’re not chasing perfect — we’re chasing consistency, growth, and becoming better than we were yesterday!

Keep going. I’m right there with you. Here’s to a Monday of starting off strong, no more bu****it. Just effort & grit.

There’s something special about HIIT20… and it’s not just the workouts.

It’s the people!

It’s walking into a room where you’re supported, encouraged, and truly seen. A place where everyone wants to see each other win — not just in the gym, but in life. Where we push each other, laugh together, sweat it out, and grow side by side.

NO judgment. NO pressure to be perfect. Just real people showing up for themselves and for each other.

That’s what makes you want to keep coming back.
That’s what builds confidence.
That’s what creates real change.

This community is everything I hoped for when I decided to start teaching. And watching it grow into what it is today… it means more than I can put into words.

If you’ve been looking for a place where you feel comfortable, supported, and motivated — this is it.

Come experience HIIT20 for yourself.

✨ • Client Progress • ✨

Progress is more than just physical changes. Sometimes it’s rebuilding your life one step at a time.

Sue’s journey has been nothing short of incredible.

After 3 right hip surgeries between June-August:
• Surgery 1 – complications with infection
• Surgery 2 – infection clean up
• Surgery 3 – full joint/ball replacement

She came home September 1st to begin her long road to recovery. At that time, she was walker bound, struggled standing up from sitting, had difficulty lifting her legs, needed in-home care, and simply wanted to improve her walking and daily activities again.

Fast forward to now… look at her. 👏

✅ Better balance
✅ Walking with much more confidence using a walker/cane
✅ No longer needing to constantly hold onto things
✅ Cooking on her own again
✅ Cleaning on her own
✅ Showering independently

These are the victories that truly matter!

Recovery isn’t linear, and it definitely isn’t easy. But Sue continues to show up, put in the work, and fight for her independence every single day. I am SO proud of how far she has come already, and we’re not done yet.

Sometimes the smallest daily tasks become the biggest milestones. Never take movement for granted.

Grilling seasons is here. So I’m going to share with you one of my favorite grilled salmon recipes.

GRILLED SOY BROWN SUGAR SALMON

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds salmon with skin on
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Lemon wedges

Grill directions:

1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Place the salmon in a large shallow glass baking dish and add the marinade, placing fish skin side up. Seal tightly or cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 1-3 hour. (The longer the better, I usually do overnight)

2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Take a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil and remove the salmon from the marinade, laying it skin side down in the center of the piece of foil. Fold the long sides up and then over themselves, repeating with the short sides, to create a sealed packet containing the salmon.

3. Place salmon on your grill, cook for 15-18 minutes until almost entirely cooked through. Brush the grill grates directly over the flames with a little oil, then carefully open the foil packet and using one of the long edges of the foil, and flip the salmon directly onto the grill grates over direct heat to char the top. Grill just until cooked through, and grill marks appear (1-2 minutes) being careful not to overcook, the use two large spatulas to remove the salmon from the grill. (Cooked salmon temp. 145)

4. Serve on plate, sprinkle fresh parsley & add lemon wedges, enjoy!

Oven directions:

Heat the oven to 375 degrees F., then bake, wrapped in foil just like on the grill, for 15-20 minutes

Perfect for the summer……well if it actually stops raining ever!

Would love to know if anyone makes this recipe. Feedback ❤️

3 YEARS. Let that sink in.

This isn’t luck. This is consistency, commitment, and choosing yourself—over and over again.

My client Laura is a mom. A wife. Works from home.
She’s also deaf.

And still… she shows up.

She gets her workouts in at home when life is busy.
She stays consistent even on vacation.
She adapts, pushes, and refuses to let life be an excuse.

“I have been training with Stephanie for 3 years ongoing…”
That’s not just time—that’s dedication to becoming stronger, more confident, and more capable.

✔️ Strength gained
✔️ Mobility improved
✔️ Confidence built
✔️ And yes… I kick her butt when needed 😉

If you’re sitting there thinking “I don’t have time” or “my situation is different”…
so is hers.

The difference? She decided to start.

If you’re ready to stop making excuses and start seeing results—this is your sign.

📲 Message me “READY” and let’s get to work.

Client Transformation ✨ Wellness Wednesday

This one hits a little deeper, one of my bestie’s of all time.

This is Kelly…………….
Kelly didn’t just change how she looks, she changed how she shows up for herself.

Like a lot of people, she hit a point where she felt stuck…comfortable, but not truly happy. Low energy, unmotivated, just going through the motions & letting life happen. And sometimes all it takes is one moment—a picture, a realization, a wake-up call—to decide enough is enough.

Not letting her life just happen, taking her life back, taking her power & control.

From there, we didn’t chase quick fixes.
We focused on building sustainable habits:
✔️ Consistent training
✔️ Daily movement
✔️ Smarter nutrition choices (not restriction)
✔️ Prioritizing herself again

She didn’t cut out everything she loves. She didn’t look for shortcuts. She committed to the process—and trusted it.

And THAT is why this transformation is so powerful!

Because what you don’t see in this picture is the confidence she’s gained, the discipline she’s built, and the way she’s taken control of her life again.

This isn’t the end of her journey—it’s just the start of a better life.

Proud of you, Kelly. Keep leveling up 👊🔥
