Mission Statement

The objective of the Waterford Horsemen‘s Club shall be to encourage and assist the current 4-H members, their families, and 4-H leaders by:

•Providing a meeting place for 4-H Community meetings
•Providing a meeting place for project meetings
•Providing storage of WHC and 4-H project equipment
•Providing a practice area for livestock exhibitions
•Planning and scheduling of var

•Mobilizing and coordinating community resources in order to raise funds to operate and maintain club facilities
•Developing positive relations between 4-H and the general public
•Providing a meeting place for WHC board members


Waterford Horseman’s Club Rules

1. No smoking allowed
6. Bare back riding is allowed in arenas under supervision
7. No cantering or running horses outside arenas
8. Horses are not allowed near tower or club house at any time
9. No persons under the age of 18 allowed on club grounds unless accompanied by an adult member over the age of 18.
10. The club grounds are to be used by members only, except during events in which the public is specifically invited. Horses may not be turned out in the parking lot
11.Equestrian helmets are required by anyone under the age of 18 and highly recommended for all riders
12. Horses may be turned out in warm up arena only under direct supervision and never left unattended. Never turned out during a public show
13. Horses may not be left at club grounds overnight except with written permission.
14. This is a members only club: This includes family members you list on your membership form
15. Fighting, foul language or un-sportsmanship conduct will not be allowed
16. No horses allowed in bleacher area at any time
17. Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult
18. Members are required to have membership card on premises
19. Must be present at membership meeting to sign release and pick up keys.
20. Key will only be given out at club meetings
