Warmth, femininity, intelligence & passion are maybe the 4 most sought after traits I hear from clients

Wanting kids is also almost exclusively non-negotiable

High status men seek partnership & someone who wants to build a FAMILY with him

All of the accomplishments & education women pursue are AMAZING

But alone, don’t draw in the types of men they want to date

Not without the warm, feminine side that he’s excited to share his home with

Not without a presence that demonstrates agreeableness (with boundaries, of course) and depth

He’s looking for someone to build PEACE with

Someone to travel the world with and spend quiet nights in with

He’s not overly concerned with her education or income

And while he does NOT seek out a woman he has to “save”, he also isn’t looking for someone to compete with

He wants to know she has the complimentary qualities to him—not the same qualities he has

Which is a BIG disconnect in the dating world

Because women DO seek out men who have the same qualities & accomplishments they have

(This is understood best by looking up the LEGO gender play study)

Men seek out what they do not have
Women seek out “more of themselves”

It’s a very interesting thing to observe as a matchmaker

Look, he cares more about your energy than you think he does

And that can feel frustrating, but if you’ll let it, it can also be freeing

You accomplished what you accomplished because you’re ambitious; remember you did those things for YOU

But they don’t “earn” you a certain type of man

Yes, ambitious/driven men LOVE ambitious driven women

But NOT if it comes with cynicism, callousness, a transactional dynamic, or the underlying implication that he needs to “prove” that he deserves her

He’s self assured enough to know the value he brings

He wants the relationship that feels easy, fun, expansive, and aligned

Not competitive or entitled or laced with the casual misandry I see all too prevalent online

Is there a shortage of good men or have you just noticed their quiet exit from the dating scene?

I meet & work with incredible men on a daily basis

They’re out there

They just don’t go to the same places they used to
They don’t date without a buffer, anymore

(Even Harry Jowsey enlisted Alex Cooper & his “confidants” to be a barrier for the women he was dating!)

These types of gents already know the direction. They’re headed, they have already been building their empire, so they aren’t looking for the same indicators of leadership, direction, or accomplishment

They’re looking for the person who they’re excited to come home to

They want the woman who loves them for who they are, not what they have

They crave the person they can ENJOY LIFE WITH, because they are already building the success they envision

So you can be the wealthy, high powered, educated woman that he chooses…

You just have to realize that he chooses how you make him FEEL a hundreds times over what you have done

(Most of the time, when I see women struggle with this disconnect; it just comes down to a skill they can develop with someone who KNOWS MEN…like me🥰)

The unspoken space between excitement and commitment is where most connections die

Unfortunately, that is primarily due to the unwillingness to have a hard conversation

Whether thats “what are we?” or “I noticed things are changing, here is what I need” it is MUCH EASIER to bail at this point than be vulnerable

I see it constantly

“Well I shouldn’t have to ask” is usually the response I get about this, and let me tell you: YOU DO HAVE TO ASK

You MUST ask someone for what you need
You MUST tell a stranger how their behavior makes you feel
You MUST be a willing teacher and learner if you are going to have a healthy, lasting relationship

Mindreading and unspoken expectations (set by social media & movies & besties) are where relationships die

If you have shared values, a similar vision for where you want the relationship to go, compatible goals, and at least base-level attraction…

There’s no reason you can’t make the connection work (and bring back the initial “spark”) EXCEPT unwillingness

Unwillingness to share
Unwillingness to ask
Unwillingness to learn
Unwillingness to teach
Unwillingness to let your partner be an imperfect person
