I'm very proud to share my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) digital badge issued by the International Coaching Federation Here's what this coaching credential means.
Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credential-holders have:
* Completed of at least 125 hours of coach-specific training that meets ICF guidelines for credentialing.
* Completed of at least 500 hours of client-coaching experience since the start of their coach training.
* Completed of 10 hours of mentor coaching with an eligible mentor coach.
* Submitted a completed application for the Professional Certified Coach Credential.
* Passed both knowledge and performance assessments at the Professional Certified Coach level.
This digital badge must be renewed after 3 years to reevaluate how I am demonstrating knowledge and proficient application of:
* ICF Core Competencies - The ICF core coaching competencies were developed to support a greater understanding of the skills and approaches used within today’s coaching profession as defined by the International Coach Federation.
* ICF Code of Ethics - The Code of Ethics is designed to provide appropriate guidelines, accountability and enforceable standards of conduct for all ICF Members and ICF Credential-holders, who commit to abiding by the ICF Code of Ethics and the definition of coaching.
* The definition of coaching. ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. This membership community exists to lead the global advancement of the coaching profession.
Credential earners show a commitment to high ethical standards and have demonstrated, through rigorous assessment, competence in using a variety of behaviors and skills in their work with clients including:
Active Listening
Building Trust
Communicating Effectively
Creating Awareness
Establishing Agreements
Maintaining Presence
Meeting Ethical Guidelines
Partnering With Clients
Powerful Questioning
Setting Goals

The coaches you meet are either:
1. Untrained
2. Trained and certified by a non ICF-accredited program
3. Trained and certified by an ICF-accredited program
4. Trained and certified by an ICF-accredited program - and ICF credentialed as an Associate, Professional or Master Certified Coach.
