💙🥎 A HUGE THANK YOU FROM WAREHAM LITTLE LEAGUE! 🥎💛

A little weather definitely didn’t stop us from having an awesome day at our Annual Softball Tournament! 🌧️🥎 We couldn’t let the weekend go by without thanking all of the people who helped make it happen.

First, a HUGE thank you to Chris McIntosh, our 50/50 raffle winner for Mia, who turned around and donated his entire winnings right back to Mia and her family. 💛 That is what community is all about, and we are so incredibly grateful.

🥎 TJ Mitchell — thank you for working the snack shack ALL DAY and keeping everyone fed!

🥎 Our coaches and Chris Sousie — thank you for donating your time and umpiring the tournament for free.

🥎 Board members Stephanie, Cass & Katie— you were a HUGE help jumping into the shack, running the 50/50 and helping keep everything moving throughout the day.

🚨 PLEASE STOP DUMPING YARD WASTE AT OUR FIELDS. 🚨

Someone has been using the Wareham Little League fields as a place to dump their yard work, and we need it to stop.

Our fields don’t magically maintain themselves. They are cared for by volunteers within our program — coaches, parents, and families who give up their own free time to mow, clean, rake, maintain, and keep these fields looking the way they do for our kids.

We take a tremendous amount of pride in our fields, and even more pride in the volunteers who work hard to keep them meticulous.

When you dump your leaves, brush, branches, grass clippings, or other yard waste here, you’re not just leaving a pile behind. You’re creating more work for volunteers who are already donating their time to our children and our community.

Wareham Little League is a volunteer-run program. Please respect our property, our volunteers, and the fields our kids get to enjoy.

Whoever is dumping yard waste here: stop.

We will also be reviewing our field cameras and checking available footage, including license plates, to identify the vehicle(s) involved.

Please find an appropriate place to dispose of your yard waste. Our Little League fields are not it. ⚾️

⚾️ It’s Not Too Late to Join the Sandlot Summer Squad! ☀️

Missed the first week or two? No worries! There’s still plenty of baseball left this summer, and we’d love to have your player join us.

If your 8–11-year-old loves baseball and wants extra reps, live scrimmages, skill development, and a whole lot of fun with friends, this is the place to be!
