We have learned that, unfortunately, the 13U team with the Wareham Tigers Athletic Association did not receive enough registrations to field a team this fall.
While we’re disappointed that these athletes won’t get the chance to play their final season of youth football, this also creates a unique opportunity. We are now encouraging all incoming 8th grade students to register for the Wareham High School football program this fall.
Eligible 8th graders will have the opportunity to play with our lower-level team, giving them an extra year to learn our system, develop their skills, build relationships with our coaches and teammates, and prepare for the varsity level.
We’re excited to welcome these young athletes into our program earlier than expected and believe this experience can have a lasting impact on their development. We look forward to helping them grow both on and off the field.
