Meet WCA Guide George White - George grew up in East Lansing, Michigan where his dad Gil put a fly rod in his hands at four years old and never really gave him a choice. Salmon, steelhead, and trout across the legendary waters of Northern Michigan, fishing wasn't just a hobby in the White house, it was basically the family religion.
Like most teenagers George had other ideas for a while, but moving to Montana for college changed everything. One summer guiding whitewater outside Glacier National Park before his freshman year and it all clicked turns out dad knew exactly what he was talking about all along.
Four seasons with Glacier Anglers later, George made his way back to the Tetons and found exactly what he was looking for at WorldCast Anglers. He loves the variety this fishery offers, the fact that wild rivers never follow a script, and getting to share that unpredictability with the people he guides every day.
Off the water you'll find George at home with his daughters Ophelia and Daisy and their Golden Retriever Cosmo.
We're pumped to have George on the WCA team.
