Work Day June 6 2026:
Tomorrow, Saturday June 6 is our scheduled summer workday at BRSC from 9am-1pm (ending sooner if we get done sooner) There's been some requests from the grounds crew for some weed-eating help. There's going to be some minor trim painting at the clubhouse (front railing), as well as marking/painting the accessible parking areas and general cleanup. Thank you all for your continued help keeping the facilities looking good.

MEG ROGERS TO SERVE AS CLUB REP FOR NEW ICORE CLUB IN VIRGINIA!

Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club in Charlottesville, VA, will host an ICORE match on Saturday of the months that have a fifth Saturday!

Recent work on the 25yd range was done. There's been some gravel laid down by our wonderful club volunteers. They got out there on very short notice to get this stuff moved, graded and laid down before the weather happened later on in the week. A week or so earlier, the fascia boards were also replaced at the pistol range. Thanks to everyone who pitched in their time and experience to help keep our place better!

While we're at it, lets be sure that we're all responsible for cleaning up our targets. Remove the cardboard and place it back in the racks. The same with the uprights. If the uprights are damaged (the middle target) put the damaged sticks in the dumpster. It doesn't take much time to keep our stuff looking good. The brass cleanup at the pistol range, has been great!

2026 22LR Benchrest League starts Tomorrow! Reminder, the 1st shoot starts tomorrow. You can still register to shoot tomorrow! Please be at the club no later than 11:30AM to draw for benches and relay. The rest of the shoots will continue on the 2nd Saturday of the month.

After two attempts to clear the Ice Luge that is the driveway, it is too dangerous to attempt to drive up the hill. Patrick and the guys tried everything including bringing in a skid steer but found the ice to be to tough to clear. That being said safety is the first thought of all our members and in order to be a safe as possible until the road is passable, we ask that nobody try to access the club. We will re-open as soon as we can clear the ice.
