Great day at VWC!

Today we planted 4 memorial trees in our yard. Two for Ward Knutson, one for Bryson Haman, and one for Carl Feist. The sign for Carl's will be showing up soon. This will be a first step towards replenishing the trees that we lost in last year's wind event.

Big thank you to Tim Llewellyn , Val Heisler, and Kevin Heisler for planting trees.

Big shout out to the Garrison Archery Team, who were awesome yesterday helping with yard cleanup and tree planting. Also thanks to Clint Hudkins, Bubba Ulland, and Mike Nienhaus for your hard work.

That wind storm of 2025 has been the nasty gift that keeps on giving, but with help from some great volunteers the property is getting better.

Check this out! Accessible 3D shooting.

A work in progress!

Last year we started developing Station 25 as an easily accessible 3D range for those with disabilities and for kids/family. You can drive right up to Station 25, on the east side of the property. We have leveled the ground and recently added gravel, to make it more wheelchair friendly. It will take a little raking and a few rainstorms to get this compacted, but we are well on our way. We hope to add more targets in the future.

Any help with this project would be greatly appreciated.

Big Thanks to Prairie Grit Outdoors, Aggie Foundation and Verendrye Electric Operation Roundup.

Archery season is a few short months away!

The 3D range at Velva Wildlife Club is looking great. The 3D range is open to the public. There are pay stations at each end. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. There are a few ticks so make sure to spray your legs before shooting.
