Wrap Up: Congratulations to the Casselton Travel Team on their State Championship. Speaking with Coach Mueller via email yesterday, they have accepted the bid and are off to Florida on Aug 6th!!
On behalf of the Community of Velva and all the volunteers, we are deeply flattered and humbled by the amount of kind words we've received about the overall ex*****on of the tournament as well as the hospitality and facilities. Our goal was to make the experience something you and your ballplayer won't soon forget. We had as much fun watching all 10 teams play ball as we hope you did. If there was anything we could have done differently or just plain ol' better, please don't hesitate to message us and we will make note of it. Our Youth Baseball/Softball Community consists of an extraordinary motivated team with the goal of continued improvement to our facilities and just simply putting our best foot forward for the kids. That includes events such as this one. We are not done!!!
Until then, we will leave this page open going forward. We encourage all of you to post pictures from the weekend that you think everyone will enjoy. We really enjoy seeing the ones that have been posted already!! Thanks again! The baseball community in North Dakota is a small world. I'm sure all of our paths will cross again very soon!
