A quiet Sunday of thanksgiving. 🌿🐴
Keegan enjoys the simple pleasures of grazing in his beautiful new pasture, made possible through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Metz and the Metz family of Florida. Their kindness has helped create a safe, comfortable space for Keegan and his Wheatland Equestrian teammates to thrive. Today, we’re grateful for green grass, gentle sunshine, and the wonderful supporters who make moments like these possible for our heroic horses and ponies. ❤️

What an incredible week we had “Under the Oaks” at the historic Upperville C**t & Horse Show!

It was an honor to showcase our farm and the sport of para-dressage alongside our Wheatland Equestrian team. Our dedicated staff worked tirelessly to prepare all three horses and riders for the big day, while parents and volunteers joined us in carrying the banner and cheering on our riders!

We were proud to es**rt Mackenzie, Masie, and Lizzy Traband as they rode around the Parker Ring. Each rider beautifully demonstrated the partnership they have built with their horse through para-dressage.

Shortly afterward, everyone enjoyed the special opportunity to cheer on our friend Lizzy as she competed in the National Grand Prix on the jumper side.

Being part of this historic event is a tremendous honor, and one for which we are grateful every year. Teamwork, horsemanship, and community are at the heart of equestrian sport, and this event embodies all three.

Thank you to everyone at UCHS for the opportunity, and thank you to all who helped make this experience possible!

Wheatland Equestrian at Belle Grey Farm is excited to welcome back our schooling jumper rounds AND combined tests at our beautiful new facility in Upperville, VA!

With our Attwood Equestrian outdoor arena, full set of show jumps, new polo field, and ample parking, we are excited to bring back our schooling shows with the addition of dressage and combined tests!

Jumping Round Only (poles/18” - 3’9):
$35/round (pre registered)
$45/round (added day-of)

Dressage Test Only (All levels offered) :
$45/ test (pre registration required)

Combined tests:
$75/combination

Jumping rounds will take place in our Attwood Equestrian outdoor arena and dressage tests will be on our professionally graded grass polo field inside the gallop track. Tests will be judged by USDF L graduate Muriel Forrest.

*due to the location of the rings and warm ups, the gallop track remains off limits for safety reasons*

Whether you are looking to bring your young horse out to a new atmosphere before the summer season or you would like to bring your top horse to get some practice in on beautiful footing, Wheatland Farm’s schooling shows are for you!
