Meet the woman behind it all ✨

Vanessa isn’t just the face of the studio, she’s the heart behind the community we’ve built and the trainer that cultivated and nurtured all your favorite teachers!

Born in Upland and a proud first-generation American, she’s worked incredibly hard to create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered.

With 15 years of teaching fitness, 26 certifications, 10 Successful Teacher Trainings, and 5 years as a studio owner, Vanessa has dedicated her life to helping others move, grow, and feel their best.

After experiencing a difficult loss, she turned her passion into purpose (not realizing that she would later use her MBA) and began her wellness career, building a place where strength, healing, and connection come together. She opened SweatLogic with just the little money in her checking account and a big dream in the middle of the pandemic🤪.

When she’s not in the studio motivating clients, she’s at home being a mom to two little ones and sharing life with her husband… proving that strength shows up both inside and outside the studio.

This community exists because of her vision, heart, and relentless work ethic and we’re so proud to have such a passionate leader guiding us every day ❤️ Help us give a huge shoutout to Vanessa as she celebrates the big 4-0 tomorrow! 🎉✨

Meet Katie 🍎💫

Katie is our youngest instructor here at SweatLogic, and she brings the perfect mix of sweet and strong 💪

She’s currently finishing up her degree in Child Development at Cal Poly Pomona and works as a TK classroom aide so yes, she has patience… but don’t let that fool you 😉

She may look kind and soft-spoken, but once class starts? She means business. Expect good vibes, serious sweat, and a workout that will push you to your best. No slacking on her watch! 🔥

Katie will be subbing for classes, so keep an eye out and make sure you book when you see her on the schedule. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it!

✨Meet Marisa ✨

Marisa is a Clinical Social Worker by day and a passionate Pilates instructor by night. With a deep love for movement and wellness, she brings intention and heart into every class she teaches.

She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Marisa is passionate about helping individuals feel strong from the inside out. Her professional work focuses on helping people feel grounded, regulated, and confident, which is the same energy and purpose she carries into her Pilates classes.

A lover of the outdoors and traveling to new places each year, Marisa also enjoys all genres of music. Her playlists reflect her diverse taste, effortlessly moving from rap to alternative to pop, keeping every class dynamic and fun.

Through Pilates, she has seen how powerful it is when someone feels confident and at home in their body. She believes strength and softness can coexist, creating a balanced mind body connection.

Expect to shake. Expect to sweat. Expect to leave feeling centered, not depleted.

She looks forward to moving with you. 💛
