did it again!!!!!!! 🎉What an absolutely J O Y to witness the result of 48 children be infused with confidence, support, and love. They beamed back all that you gave them. It was a reminder of what is possible, what children need, and that they are all ours.

Beyond proud of my future DIL!! You are the best! XOXOXOX ❤️❤️❤️

I really hope all of my friends across what has proven to be a dangerous political divide take a listen to this episode and then let’s talk and exchange ideas. If there’s something in here you don’t agree with, let’s talk. As I have said to “in person” to friends, it’s time to stop taking sides and let go of being “right”. Rather, I invite us all to listen to the same facts presented by trusted independent journalists like or (I no longer watch cable news - no more msnbc or cnn) and then let’s talk together—do we have the same values, worries and concerns? If not let’s talk it out and figure it out. But let’s not let democracy die in the process by refusing to come together. I don’t think anyone voted for that or for a self appointed king. Episode

I am so touched by the immediate and generous support (link in bio if you want to contribute!) just 2 days into the challenge. Sometimes these causes seem unrelatable to our lives. This cause would have been for me three years ago, before I started volunteering. My experience talking to youth who reach out is so profound— almost each caller has something in common with the last—they are scared, vulnerable, facing rejection, already or imminently homeless, anxious, depressed….More and more since the election, callers share, often sobbing, that they just don’t understand why the world hates them. Calls post election went up 700%!!! Why IS this population so targeted? What have they done to anyone to generate such hate? On top of their already challenging lives they live feeling less than, not enough, lonely, sad and like me listening to them, heartbroken and bewildered. And yet, our hearts can be so big and expansive when we turn towards others with intention—as evidenced by these fundraisers. But more than donating money, I urge us all to donate time to understanding another person who has a life experience different from our own. Donate your time and open your heart to someone or a group that is unfamiliar to you. It won’t take long for you to see we are all connected and all want and deserve the same thing— to love freely, to be loved, to be safe from harm, to be free and healthy, and to live this one life as we wish. Our hearts were made for this. 🏳️‍🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

In addition to time on the lines every week, I just committed to 45 miles outdoors on behalf of the struggling and frightened young adults across our country who are being targeted. What a privilege it was to share our Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra YTT with this group of rockstar peeps! Folks with the biggest hearts and quest for knowledge. Curious and full of fun, these new grads are amazing teachers! It was an honor to lead this training as a 300-hour grad myself!
