BACA Summer League Champions & Runner-Ups Keshav was the top bowler in the league, second year running. Panthers had the best bowling attach in the league, giving away the fewest runs and taking most wickets in the league, 131 wickets in 14 games (9+ wickets per game). Ani was the l
eading batsmen in the team with 392 runs (1 100 and 3 50s) and 4th in the league. Dhamal was also in the top 10 batsmen in the league with 319 runs (3 50s). Keshav led the league with 28 wickets (13.68 avg, 24 s/r, 3.35 econ). Jaspreet was also in the top 10 in the league, 19 wickets in 7 games (2 5-fors, 11.58 avg, 16.74 s/r, 4.15 econ). Pranav was the second in dismissals in the league with 28 (20 catches, 5 stumpings were most in the league, 3 run outs). Panthers dominated the MVP ratings in the league with 5 players in the top 10, Keshav ( #4), VK ( #6), Ani ( #8), Pranav ( #9), Dhamal ( #10). In 2014 - We played in NCCA for the first time. Ended the season 10-5, coming in 3rd in our division. Keshav took the most wickets (30) in the division. Aniruddha Dhamal was top scorer for the team (491 @37.77). Aniruddha Vyawahare (390 @39.00) and Uday Devasper (362 @32.91) were also amongst the Top 10 batsmen in the division. Aniruddha Vyawahare won the best fielder award in the division with 14 dismissals. Keshav was #3 in the MVP points tally. In 2013 - Uday won the Best Batsmen in the league award for scoring 634 runs in the BACA Summer League. We also had Aniruddha Vyawahare in the top 10 batters of the league. Out of the top 8 bowlers in the league, 4 were from Panthers. Jaspreet, VK, Abhinav and Aniruddha Dhamal. in 2012 - We won the Super25 Winter League. Jaspreet took the most wickets and Uday scored the most runs. We came in 2nd in the BACA Summer League with Jaspreet again taking the most wickets in the league. Uday in the top 10 batsmen and Abhinav was in the top 10 wicket takers. We made it to the Semi-Finals in the knock-outs. Anil Mandava won the best fielder award, for most catches. Past History:
Panthers is only team that has played in the inaugural season of BACA and has played in all subsequent seasons except one. Panthers have won the BACA Summer League once and come runner ups 3 times. Akbar Qureshi, a former member, has gone on to represent USA in Malaysia. Harmeet Riyar, Jaspreet & Akbrar Qureshi, have represented the North West Region at national tournaments multiple times, with Harmeet leading the NWR team. Uday, Jaswinder, Jaspreet, Akbar, Harmeet, Rahul Khona, Kashyap, Abhinav have represented BACA in regional tournaments. Jaspreet has won the best bowler award 3 times and MVP once. Jaswinder won the best Batsmen award once and has been among the top 5 leading scorers in league history. Teams lead by Panthers players have won the 4th of July tournament 3 times. BACA was founded by some of the founding members of San Jose Panthers (formerly known as San Jose Cricket Club). They included Abrar Ahmad, Nisar Chaudhary, Ali Shah & Harmeet Riyar.
