Sunday shoutout to our girl Jacqueline B! đź’Ş
Jackie joined our Foundations class this summer with our awesome coach Tommie leading the way. Tommie helped set the foundation for these gals by showing them that they can do hard things and that everything can be modified at our gym! Jackie decided to stick around for the long haul, and she has been absolutely killing it ever since! She is a busy gal with so many important titles, but she still makes time to prioritize her health and become the best version of herself for her family. Her sweet smile and positivity light up every room, and our gym is truly a better place with Jackie in it! We love you, Jackie! ❤️
“I could probably write a short story about my why. My whole life, I've dieted, done home workouts and even joined gyms. But I've never stuck with it. Too many excuses to not do it. Workout equipment and weights are intimidating to know what to do. When I first saw the post about Foundations class, I knew it was something I wanted to do. But it wasnt until I had encouragement from my employers and my good friend Deb, did I take the leap of faith. I was nervous and excited. Tommie is an amazing coach who knows how to encourage and support. So after Foundations was over, I decided to officially join The Yard. Im so thankful for the community that I gained. Every single person is on their own journey and level of ability. I have been to numerous classes at different times of the day and they are always so encouraging, pumping each other up and cheering you on. THAT is EXACTLY what I needed. I need to be held accountable when I dont show up for a week....lol. I am supported and pushed when I think I cannot do something. I love how there is no judgment when I need to scale. Lets be real, I scale just about everything. Im the one you'll hear saying... "One day I'm gonna be like you" to all my friends running circles around me or doing things like hand stands. The coaches always have the best Playlist and are always pumping you up.
My why.. is to become stronger, to be more fit and to improve my overall health. To be able to keep up with my 9 year and for this GiGi to be able to play on the floor with her 4 sweet grandbabies. To be able to be a caregiver to my aging mother (Alzheimers) and mother in law. The coaches are fantastic. The support and encouragement from every body that walks through the door keeps me coming back. It doesnt matter if you work out 6 days a week or 1, The Yard is an amazing community to be apart of. Thank you Chris and Jess for the opportunity to be apart of an amazing group of humans.”
