Most people train movement in straight lines — push, pull, squat, hinge. But real life doesn’t move that way. You twist to grab something off a shelf, rotate to swing a bat, pivot when you catch yourself from a stumble. That’s where the landmine comes in.
1. Builds real rotational power. Moves like landmine exercises train your obliques and core to generate force through a twisting motion — directly carrying over to sports like golf, tennis, baseball, and boxing.🥊 🎾⚾️
2. Trains anti-rotation just as much as rotation.
3. Easier on the joints. Because the bar moves in a natural arc instead of a fixed straight line, landmine work is often more shoulder- and lower-back-friendly than traditional barbell lifts — great for lifters managing joint issues.
🔊IF your training is all straight lines, you’re leaving out a whole plane of motion your body actually uses every day. A few landmine rotational movements a week can close that gap.
