This weeks course is Midland Valley Trail! We love this one for the shade! We have a 2 mile out and back, as well as a 3.2 mile out and back! See you Monday at 6:15pm!

Cross Riverside drive and go right, go about .3 miles and turn RIGHT at the pedestrians bridge (where we turned last week to cross, but opposite direction). This will take you over a bridge and across Riverside drive. Continue in on the main course. For the people doing the 2 mile out and back, turn around at 26th St. This will be the first place you come to where you have to stop to cross an actual street, look at the sign, it’ll say 26th, and you turn right around! For those doing the 3.2 mile out and back, continue onto 18th st., this is your turn around! You will cross several roads, so make sure you use caution and cross safely. Then you head right back the way we came!

Who has heard of Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials 2026??? Well the Race Director has generously gifted 1 free race registration to each of the Kaizen Run Clubs! What do you have to do? Show up on June 15th, (or June 16th if you attend a Tuesday club), we will do a drawing! Go check out their Facebook, they have multiple events, a 5k, 6 hour, and 12 hour! You may wonder, how does a 6 or 12 hour race work? Well it’s fun, you go as far as you want in that time frame! Maybe you run, maybe you walk, maybe you sit down and chat a while… you do it however you want! This is an excellent race and sadly the last year, so you don’t want to miss!

It’s gonna be hot hot hot at run club tonight! Please take extra caution with pets and kids! I will have my kids in sun shirts that I’ll be wetting down in water fountains to keep them cool! The trail tonight is full sun and all paved, so it’ll be very hot on paws, please consider leaving them at home. We will have some water and ice, but recommend you bringing your own so you have as much as you need! See you at 6:15pm!
