Tonight we got to hear from run club member Austin Mayes.

“The moral to my story is all of the
"good stuff" whether it be gains, health benefits, socializing and making friends ultimately is on the other side of "showing up".
Keep it simple, check off the first box of the process and show up.
The rest will take care of itself along the journey.”

If you see your city above and would like to join us, we would love to have you carry the baton for a brief period. Here's the thing, we know when we are starting and that's it. We fully intend to get this bad boy done in 5 days or less, but we cannot pinpoint exactly when we will be near you. It's up to you to pay attention and plan ahead. We will drop updates as we go. It will also be completely up to you to get to and from your vehicle should you decide to join us. We will not be driving you back to your car. Ultimately we signed up for this and we will get it done. If you can help we would love to see you, if not please don't worry. We will get it done.

People like to make it black and white, that there is a right way and a wrong way. The reality is, whatever you can be consistent with is the right thing for you. When I wanted to train for a hundred, and had no childcare, I ran around this park while my kids played. Some people would absolutely hate that, but for me, it allowed me to train for my goal. I hope this encourages you to see obstacles as problems to solve, not excuses as to why your can’t do it.
