The WarDogs 13U traveled to The Shipyard in Charleston this weekend to compete against strong regional competition at one of the top baseball facilities in the Southeast. The boys continued to compete hard, battle through adversity, and represent the program with toughness and effort all weekend long.

⚾️ Player Highlights ⚾️

• Trevor A brought energy, hustle, and effort throughout the weekend while continuing to compete hard in every opportunity for the WarDogs.

• Mason M earned a Game MVP award and had a strong all-around tournament both offensively and defensively. He collected key hits, stole multiple bases, and even stole home against Down East Pirates. Mason also played clean defense and led the team in fielding chances during Friday’s game.

• Carter O earned Game MVP award and was one of the offensive leaders for the WarDogs throughout the tournament. He opened Friday’s game with a triple, finished 2-for-2 with 2 RBI against Down East Pirates, added multiple stolen bases against Red Clay Athletics, and also contributed innings on the mound during the weekend.

• Will M contributed offensively with a hit against Red Clay Athletics and showcased his speed on the bases with multiple stolen bases against SBA NC East.

• Carico R took the mound against a tough SBA NC East lineup and continued battling throughout his outing against a talented offense.

• Cooper H earned a Game MVP award for his effort and competitiveness during the weekend. He also collected a hit against Archers 13U and continued to provide energy and defensive effort throughout tournament play.

• Camden S battled on the mound against Red Clay Athletics, throwing four innings while allowing only two earned runs. He also showed patience at the plate with multiple walks against SBA NC East and led the team defensively in that game with the most fielding chances.

• Caleb H earned a Game MVP award after contributing offensively and aggressively on the bases. He collected a hit against SBA NC East and swiped multiple bases during the game.

• Colton P provided big offensive production during the weekend, driving in runs in multiple games. He had 2 RBI against Red Clay Athletics and added another RBI hit against SBA NC East.

• Mason P contributed offensively with hits against both SBA NC East and Archers 13U while continuing to compete hard throughout the weekend.

• Scott C consistently found ways to contribute offensively, collecting hits during the tournament and drawing a bases-loaded walk to bring home a run against SBA NC East. He also added a hit against Archers 13U.

• The WarDogs showed aggressive base running throughout the weekend, piling up stolen bases against several opponents.

• Most importantly, the team continued gaining valuable experience against high-level competition at The Shipyard while continuing to grow together as a group.

This past weekend, WarDogs 13U competed in the SWAT Strike Out Cancer: Jonah Hammett Memorial Tournament. These young men battled tough competition while playing for something much bigger than the game—supporting a great cause. 💛

💥 WarDogs Player Highlights:

⚾ Game 1:
Camden S, Trevor A, and Colton P each tallied multiple hits, while Caleb H, Mason M, Carico R, and Colton P drove in runs. Carico R put in a strong effort on the mound, throwing five innings.

⚾ Game 2:
Mason P led the offense with an impressive 2-for-3 performance and 3 RBIs. Mason M and Mason each added two hits, with Mason also stealing two bases. Scott C started on the mound, and the defense turned a double play.

⚾ Game 3:
Mason P, Carter O, Scott C, and Trevor A each recorded a hit. Carter O got the start on the mound, facing a tough lineup.

No matter the outcome, the WarDogs showed resilience, teamwork, and heart all weekend long. Proud of this group for competing hard and representing for a meaningful cause!

WarDogs 13U battled through a competitive weekend at the SWAT Spring Slugfest, showing resilience and teamwork on their way to bringing home the Silver Bracket Championship! 💪🐾

🔹 Game 1:
WarDogs faced early adversity but continued to compete throughout.

WarDogs 13U Go 2-1 Behind Explosive Offense and Clutch Performances ⚾🔥

WarDogs 13U put together an impressive weekend, going 2-1 with big-time hitting, aggressive base running, and consistent defense.

💥 Game 1: Offensive Explosion Fuels 21-6 Victory

Carter O delivered a monster performance, driving in six runs on two hits to lead WarDogs 13U to a 21-6 win on Saturday. He highlighted his day with a bases-clearing triple in the second inning and an RBI single in the first.

WarDogs broke the game wide open with a 14-run second inning, showcasing relentless offense from top to bottom. Key contributions came from:
• Fisher H (2 RBIs)
• Mason M
• Colton P
• Scott C (double)
• Cooper H
• Carico R and Trevor A led with 3 runs each
• Mason P

In total, WarDogs racked up 23 hits and 9 stolen bases, applying constant pressure on the basepaths.

On the mound, Camden S got the start, only allowing two runs over two innings. Carico R and Colton P provided relief to close it out.

Defensively, WarDogs were flawless, committing zero errors!

🔥 Game 2: Strong Pitching and Timely Hitting in 9-1 Win

WarDogs carried that momentum into their next game, defeating Carolina Hornets 13U 9-1.

Carter O continued his clutch weekend, driving in four runs, including a sacrifice fly that brought home three.

Mason P led the offense with a 2-for-3 performance, while the team showed patience at the plate with six walks. Mason M showed up in a big way for the defense with a double play.

On the mound:
• Scott C delivered a strong start (3.1 IP, 1 run allowed)
• Carter O shut the door in relief with 1.2 scoreless innings

WarDogs once again had a solid game defensively and landed the number 1 seed for day 2 of the SWAT Sandlot Showdown!

⚔️ Game 3: Late Battle Falls Short in 11-7 Loss

WarDogs dropped a competitive 11-7 decision to FS Bulldogs Red 13U on Sunday.

After falling behind early, WarDogs showed resilience, rallying in the sixth inning to tie the game behind key hits from:

• Mason M
• Carter O (double)
• Camden S
• Fisher H

Trevor A, Caleb H, Carico R, Mason M, Cam S, and Mason P all scored runs for the team.

Fisher H started on the mound, striking out four over four innings. Offensively, Mason M led the team with two hits, while Carter O added two RBIs.

The game ended with a loss in the 7th inning with the “California Tie-breaker” rule. The Wardogs had an exceptional game and weekend!

🔥 WarDogs 13U Weekend Recap 🔥

WarDogs 13U battled through a competitive weekend, showing grit at the plate and flashes of dominance across three games.

⚾ Game 1: Tough Loss vs Carolina Wolfpack - Red (9-8)
WarDogs came out swinging, jumping to a 4-0 lead in the first inning behind a big double from Carter O. The offense stayed hot, racking up 10 hits with Mason P, Carter O, and Scott C each collecting multiple hits. Despite the early lead and strong hitting, Wolfpack rallied late to edge out a one-run victory.

⚾ Game 2: Big Win vs Triad Hornets (12-4)
The Dogs bounced back in a big way! Mason P led the charge with a huge day at the plate—3 hits and 4 RBIs. A explosive 7-run fourth inning broke the game open. Pitching made the difference in this one—Camden set the tone with three innings of work, battling through adversity while keeping the team in control. Carter O was dominant on the mound, tossing 2 shutout innings with 5 strikeouts and no hits allowed to slam the door. The team finished with 14 hits, played clean defense, and dominated on the bases with 8 stolen bags.

⚾ Game 3: Loss vs GBC Shutt (15-0)
A tough final game as GBC Shutt capitalized on a big third inning. The Dogs showed effort throughout, with Colton P and Mason P turning a double play defensively. Carico R, Colton P and Will M had strong performances at the mound. GBC Shutt went on to win the tournament championship.

WarDogs 13U vs Flying Pigs Walser 14U
❌ WarDogs fall 9–3

WarDogs struck first in the opening inning with runs from Mason M, Carter O, and Carico R to take an early 3–0 lead.

Flying Pigs answered with a seven-run first inning and added two more later to secure the win.
