🐶🏐 The Trinity Bulldogs JV/Varsity will square off against Central Davidson Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Trinity Varsity will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Trinity proved they can win big with a three-set win against North Moore on Thursday. On Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Randleman 3-2.

Trinity got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 20-25, 22-25, 30-28, 25-21, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Central Davidson made easy work of Lexington on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Central Davidson was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-7, 25-13.

Central Davidson's win came from a few key players Trinity will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lauren Chesney, who had five kills, three digs, two aces, and a solo block. Cayman James was another key player, getting 10 digs and five assists.

Trinity has now won 13 of their last 14 games at home. That run has powered them to a 7-1 record this season. As for Central Davidson, the win improved their record to 7-2.
