Specializing in all sports, golf, softball, baseball, and mental performance coaching on & off the field. Valeria Brannen was born in Medellin, Colombia, and discovered her passion for golf at the young age of six. Over the years, she honed her skills and won numerous tournaments in her homeland, including two South American Championships held in Brazil and Chile. In 1999, Valeria embarked on a li
fe-changing journey, relocating to the United States with her firstborn child. Despite facing language barriers and cultural adjustments, her unwavering determination to provide for her family pushed her forward. Arriving in the U.S. without a support network, Valeria balanced various jobs while immersing herself in learning English. Her resilience was tested through career setbacks, personal hardships, and raising four children as a single mother, one of whom has special needs. These challenges fueled her growth and adaptability, shaping her into the multifaceted coach and mentor she is today. Initially aspiring to pursue a professional golf career, Valeria placed her dreams on hold when her son was diagnosed with autism. Her love for the sport, however, remained steadfast. She channeled her passion into creating a successful golf academy, helping children and adults alike discover the joy and life-changing opportunities the game can bring. To date, she has coached over 500 children—many of whom have gone on to earn full college scholarships—and has helped countless adults enhance their skills and overall quality of life through golf. Valeria’s drive to make a greater impact led her to expand her expertise beyond golf. She became certified as a Life Coach, Mental Performance Coach, and Hypnotherapist, allowing her to integrate mindset coaching, resilience training, and personal development strategies into her teaching. Her holistic approach empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, achieve clarity, and build confidence both on and off the golf course. Valeria also gained valuable experience in corporate America’s golf industry. She served as a Sales Manager at the Diplomat Golf and Resort (2009–2013) and later at Turnberry Resort and Spa (2013–2016), revitalizing operations and achieving significant milestones. From 2010 to 2014, she also served as a television host for the Latin America Golf Channel. Her accomplishments extend to national television, including appearances on The Golf Channel’s reality show “The Big Break III: Ladies Only,” “The Big Break IV,” and “The Big Break VII.” Valeria also featured in “Golf Academy Live,” “Top Shelf,” “All Access,” and “Behind the Scenes of Scotland,” and served as the host of “Inside the PGA” on the Latin America Golf Channel. Her philanthropic work has been highlighted through participation in celebrity golf events benefiting charitable causes. In her personal life, Valeria remarried and built a loving family with her husband, a devoted father and coach. Her active lifestyle includes competing in triathlons and Ironman events, with her upcoming challenges being the 70.3 Ironman in Panama City (May 2025) and Augusta (September 2025). Currently, Valeria resides in Trenton, Florida, where she serves as the Varsity Head Golf Coach for the Trenton High School Girls’ Golf Team. With 40 years of golf experience, Valeria offers coaching for golfers of all levels—from beginners to advanced players. Her instruction focuses on swing mechanics, club fitting, mental resilience, and performance optimization. Through her certifications as a Life Coach, Mental Performance Expert, and Hypnotherapist, Valeria offers a holistic approach to coaching that integrates both athletic and personal development. Whether helping athletes achieve peak performance, guiding families with special needs, or mentoring individuals through life’s challenges, Valeria’s passion and commitment make her a transformative force for those she works with. Valeria is also committed to building youth programs and fostering a strong, supportive golf community. Her ultimate goal is to inspire others to live with purpose, resilience, and confidence, both on and off the course.
