Happy Labor Day Weekend from Mountain View PACE! 💚

As we celebrate Labor Day, we want to recognize the people whose hard work, compassion, and dedication make a difference in the lives of older adults every single day.

From our care teams and transportation staff to therapy, nutrition, social services, home care, and everyone working behind the scenes, it truly takes a team to help our participants stay safe, supported, connected, and at home.

And during National PACE Month, this weekend feels like the perfect time to simply say:

Thank you for the work you do. Thank you for the heart you bring. And thank you for helping make PACE possible. 💚

We also wanted to share some of the amazing “Thank You, PACE” hearts from our Mountain View PACE Corbin staff and participants. Reading their words and seeing what PACE means to them is exactly what makes every day worth it. 💚

As summer temperatures rise, staying hydrated becomes even more important. Older adults may not always recognize when they're thirsty, which can increase the risk of dehydration.

Let's all take a moment today to refill our water bottles, check in on loved ones, and stay cool, healthy, and hydrated this summer! ☀️

Bravo to the Village of Thompsonville for hosting a successful SummerFest. When professional and personal lives intersect in my hometown with family is especially rewarding. Seeing my sweet Aunt Eleanor and my brother, Mike MacGirr, the fire chief, adds pride to the event for me.
