Evolving since 1920, Crystalaire has worked with groups of young men and women of all experience levels. Our expeditions are built around community involvement: every trip participant is included in planning and preparation for the trip, deciding activities, leading discussions, and carrying out the daily work of out-of-door living. Through boating, backpacking, biking and more, we help campers fo
ster a sense of belonging to the rest of the world. We want you discover what it feels like to sleep out under the stars, come across a moose on a woodland trail, taste pancakes cooked over red hot coals, or sit around a campfire telling stories with a group of friends. We believe that these things can contribute directly to life outside of a wild context, and give you a chance to figure out who you want to become. Using the rugged and beautiful terrain of the North Woods (and beyond) as our classrooms we build fun and engaging “trip families” that help everyone involved gain self-awareness, confidence, and a place to be true to themselves.
