Light tackle and flats fishing charters in the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon. I offer 4,6, and 8 hour trips which include everything needed except food and drink. I fish the flats year round for redfish, seatrout, and black drum. Charters are designed to comfortably fish 1 or 2 anglers from a stable and comfortable riding Hewes flats skiff.

Quiet release after a successful sight fishing shot in shallow Mosquito Lagoon water . The redfish were feeding on the grass flats near New Smyrna Beach in less than 18 inches of water. Client hooked up on a tailing redfish in Mosquito Lagoon near Orlando today. Sight fishing the shallow flats for redfish and black drum is one of the most exciting ways to fish in Central Florida. When conditions are right we quietly pole the flats looking for tailing fish, schools, and singles moving through the grass.

Fishing for American Shad in the St Johns River is like fishing for baby tarpon with ultralight fly and spinning tackle. They pull hard and jump butter usually not nearly as picky as tarpon can be. They should be going strong for another month or so. Book your trip today.
