Athlete number 110 to graduate the program, starting with us in the 7th grade & has been grinding 3-4 days a week every since, to the end is 4x all conference & multiple year all district team selection…Tecumseh graduate is headed to Wittenberg for her collegiate soccer career this fall! Hailey started with us in the 7th grade & is headed to Wittenberg to play soccer at the college level.

Jumping back a decade to our 2016-2017 school year re-cap, our first full school year training at Athletic Proving Grounds after leaving the garage gym where we spent 2012-2015. This school year included a 100% NHS junior class that would graduate several valedictorians on top of their great athletic success’!

Entering 7th and 8th grade broad jump improvements, measured at the Memorial Day Combine! 💥 Train explosive, play explosive…so we test for explosive progress. We use the broad jump to measure the progress of converting new strength improvements into applied movement. When application test results keep pace with strength gains, programming is efficient with new potential. We then use 3 peat broad jump to measure the athlete’s ability to immediately recall their maximum effort, compare it to their one rep broad jump, and evaluate the entire process of getting strength into applied athletic movement, and recalling that explosive power.

Our Kidz Programs cover young athletes entering grades 1st through 6th. Lil’Movers & Developmental are age appropriate gross motor development programs. Those programs run all year-round, this summer there are workouts Monday through Thursday and Saturday mornings, evenings on Monday-Tuesdays, and some mid-day options on Wednesday/Thursdays in Minster.
Lil’Movers and Developmental emphasize body control, strength through bodyweight exercises, introduction to explosive band/light med. ball work for explosive movements, fundamentals of movement, group games, small sided skill games, and sports based play. Volt Kidz starts the athletic brain mapping early with speed, plyometrics, agility, and conditioning. All sessions last 45 minutes. Athletes can attend one program, or back to back programs for 90 minutes. No need to schedule, attend any workouts at either location, anytime we have a session.
There are seasonal punch cards, unlimited monthly training, and family/household discounts that are eligible across all programs!

🥎⚡️ Aria putting her speed improvements on display! She had two big games in TNT Thunder’s wins this week with a 2 run home run , a single, and 2 stolen bases in the first game, and a triple, a single, and 3 stolen bases in the second game!

Huge congrats to 2025 Vargo Trained Female Athete of the Year, 2 sport all conference collegiate athlete for Capital University, and 2024 TRC Player of the Year for hitting a lifetime PR level 35 yoyo today! Julie’s career has been defined by her planning. She sees opportunities in her schedule and has has been doing full-sends with opportunities between seasons, extra days, and meal plans for years; exploding her to levels and experiences she wouldn’t have experienced had she not took control of her future each step along the way.
Julie trained on our distance program at school this year in ways that completed her development plan & college team trainings between her training here on long weekends and breaks and then forewarned us of her goals and expectations of moving forward this summer.
We are 5 weeks into a very challenging soccer conditioning and 400m. improvement plan. I’ve checked-in with her several times over the first block to make sure she was good with what we were asking her to do…because it’s outside our norm, pushing her physical limits at times…but in line with her goals. Here she is eating-it up and still moving forward to a better athlete in summer 7 with us!
