Team SLASR 48 Peaks Hike | 6/13/26

We had an awesome time yesterday bagging Adams and turning the highest peak in the Northern Presidentials purple! The weather couldn’t have been much better for a trek up one of the Whites’ most notoriously rugged and fickle summits. Thanks to all of our teammates for helping make the day such a success and for doing an incredible job fundraising. We hope all the other teams that got out had a great day as well—we already can’t wait for next year! Nick Sidla and Lynn Swezey 🐦‍🔥 both had their cameras working overtime, so keep an eye out for plenty more photos from this fantastic day on Mount Adams in the coming days.

Osceola Range from the Kanc | 6/3/26

The Osceola Range forms one of the most recognizable ridgelines in the White Mountains. Anchored by Mount Osceola and East Osceola, the range rises above the valleys of the East Branch Pemigewasset and Mad River watersheds, creating a distinctive profile visible from summits and overlooks across the region.

Named for the Seminole leader Osceola, these peaks have long been a favorite objective for hikers. Whether you’re standing on the ridge itself or viewing it from afar, it’s hard not to appreciate the rugged character that makes the range such a White Mountain classic.

REMINDER: Lincoln Woods Trail will close beginning June 15 through November 2026, when restoration work commences. The trail will be closed to protect health and safety during construction activities.

The trail suffered significant damage during several flooding events over the past decade. This is essential work to ensure the long-term viability of the trail resulting in reliable access to recreation opportunities.
