Blessed is the nation whose God Is The Lord. Psalm 33:12

Father, we pray for our nation and for all those in authority. Give our leaders wisdom, humility, discernment, and courage to lead with righteousness and justice. Turn hearts back to You. Heal division, protect families, and let truth, peace, and revival spread across our land. May Your will be done in our government, communities, churches, and homes.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Not the workouts.
Not the effort.
Not the days you showed up when you didn’t feel like it.

Because strength isn’t just about lifting weights.

It’s about becoming more confident.
More capable.
More resilient in everything you do.

Hey!
I’ve had several ladies wanting in on my next round of Strength Training Classes. Unfortunately for some of you, but a good problem for me 😂 my 5:30 classes are already full!
However! I’m opening a new small group strength class 👇

🗓 May 4 – June 24
📅 Mondays & Wednesdays
⏰ 4:00 PM

Same structure, same coaching and same great energy 💪

Spots are limited to 4 as to keep it more intimate and personal training like.

Worship & Weights Wednesday (Easter Week)

Resurrection Strength

As we approach Easter, we remember the greatest victory of all.

The resurrection reminds us that new life is always possible.

No matter where you are in your health journey…
No matter how many times you’ve started over…

You can begin again today.

Strong in spirit.
Strong in mind.
Strong in body.

He makes all things new.

To run out of room is a great problem to have!

Your muscles don’t know your age
especially after 60.
They don’t measure years or labels.
They respond to demand.

Adults over 60
can gain significant strength through resistance training.
These improvements come not only from muscle growth,
but from the nervous system relearning how to activate muscle
improving coordination, balance, and control.
Strength returns before size
and function improves before appearance.

What’s often called ‘age-related muscle loss’
is frequently the result of reduced use not irreversible decline.
When muscles are challenged safely and progressively,
the body receives a clear signal:
this strength is still required.

Regular strength training in adults 60+
can improve bone density, support joint health,
reduce the risk of falls,
and help maintain independence in daily life.
Getting stronger means standing up more easily,
walking with confidence,
lifting everyday objects without fear,
and protecting long-term mobility.

Recovery may take longer with age
but adaptation still happens.
Muscle protein synthesis continues.
Connective tissue strengthens.
The body rebuilds when training is paired
with adequate protein, quality sleep, and patience.

Strength after 60 is not about chasing youth.
It’s about preserving capability.
It’s about staying active, self-reliant and engaged in life.
Age may change the pace of progress,
but it does not remove the ability to improve.

Muscles don’t retire at 60.
They respond to effort,
to consistency,
to care.
Train with intention
and your body will meet you where you are.
