🏌️‍⛳ Growing the Game of Golf!

Last week students from across the region enjoyed a week of learning, fun, and history at the Jack Hadley Black History Museum Golf Camp held at Country Oaks Golf Course. The camp introduced students in grades 6-12 the fundamentals of golf while highlighting the achievements and challenges of African American golfers who helped pave the way for future generations.

With guidance from Troy Stribling, the assistant golf coach at FAMU, and Mikail Jaydra Darmawan, a member of the FAMU golf team, students built skills, confidence, and an appreciation for the opportunities the sport can provide. Thank you to the for making this experience possible!
