History
Splash Fit Swimming was founded by a group of aquatic instructors in Harlem teaching minority and underprivileged communities basic swimming skills and water safety awareness. With an epidemic of people drowning in the city, we wanted to expand our services where teaching a necessary life-saving skill has been our number one priority. Our team adjusts the stroke curriculum to meet each swi
mmers specific needs so that they can learn at their own pace, not only making sure that our clients are more comfortable around all aspects of aquatics, but ensuring that they develop a skill set that can be used for the rest of their lives. Our Team
At Splash Fit Swimming, our team consists of highly trained experienced certified instructors (Red Cross WSI, USA Swimming) who come from all areas of the world and focus on training swimmers of all ages reach their personal goals while keeping a positive attitude at all times. Its simple to follow curriculum and lesson plans, but we adjust to each and every child's learning ability so that they can get the most out of every session. Our Founders/Head Coaches have been teaching and coaching for over 15 years in the metropolitan area and have trained numerous individuals to reach elite competitions such as Junior Olympics and Zone Qualifiers in the USA Swimming League. We believe that with a positive mindset and a comfortable environment, everyone can learn! Each class is assigned an instructor for the appropriate skill levels to be achieved. Instructors range from experienced WSI for Baby & Me and Learn to Swim classes to USS badged coaches who refine stroke technique for competitive swimming. Safety
Above all, safety is of most important to us. During all of our sessions certified lifeguards are always on duty to ensure we enjoy the water in the safest way possible, our complete team, including coaches and instructors, are all certified in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED and First Aid.
