Today we had a clinic with Allie Baier Equipt. When I asked her to come the first time-back in March we worked on my tipping saddle (originating from my collapsing left side- due to prior injuries). Today I was so pleased to hear her announce my straightness! This time our focus addressed my jutting chin habit and I couldn’t believe how much that change affected EVERYTHING from my ability to sit better, to how Zinny carries herself.
Now that I have the awareness the work begins!

I can’t tell you how much I enjoy listening to Allie’s wisdom and learning about how my body (and others!) works both in and out of the saddle.

We will be inviting her back in the spring. If you’re interested in joining us shoot me a message! You don’t even have to bring a horse to benefit from her work.

It would seem the “cat distribution system” (as Katie calls it) has elected to award us ANOTHER black cat. 🐈‍⬛
This talkative, tiny, friendly, hungry feller showed up at dinner time. (So he’s still talkative, tiny, and friendly, but not-so-much hungry anymore) if he chooses to hang around with his 3 new grumpy roommates, I guess he’s the newest member of the JE team. Craig has dubbed him “Huey” (but we aren’t even sure if it’s actually a “he” 😆)

This morning I noticed the union gathering of the JE cats. By the time my camera was up they had moved apart and seem to be acting as if nothing was happening. 🤔
Would you agree I’m correct to be suspicious??
