Foss ASB and AFJROTC student leaders recently toured their newly renovated school alongside the project manager. Students explored the transformed spaces, asked lots of questions about the construction process, and shared their excitement with each other about the improvements. They also stopped by to visit some of their favorite teachers as classrooms were being prepared for the new school year and enjoyed a few sweet treats.

The tour highlighted unique features throughout the building, including custom wall art inspired by the topography of Mount Rainier and Foss Falcons, as well as new wayfinding signage designed to help students and visitors navigate the campus with ease.

We're excited to welcome students back to this beautiful new space for the first day of school next week!

Today,I met this lovely lady Miae Aramori(Christofferson). During our conversation Miae told me she graduated in 1987 from Foss high school. I asked her what is her favorite memory at Foss? Miae said meeting Henry Foss and celebrating his birthday in September. She also mentioned her favorite teacher was Jerry Blair. As a Foss parent I love meeting with Foss alums. It’s a great way to connect and bring alums back to Foss.

It’s that time of the year! Our Foss students were seen picking up their class schedules for the new school year. We had staff BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers for students. Can’t wait to see all the new renovations and improvements made for our school!

I finally got to stop and look at this mural. Usually I just pick up the kids at the front and head out. So today was my day to actually go up the stairs and admire this beautiful piece of art. Through the years it’s held up pretty well. Whoever did this mural should come back and do touch ups. The maritime learning center opens up in September. The Foss family has a lot of Maritime history.

As we close out the year, our dedicated Athletic Director, Ms. Reed, celebrated our athletes' achievements with a well-deserved dinner and awards ceremony. Thank you, Ms. Reed, for fostering a year of growth and excellence in Foss athletics. We're excited to see the continued success of our athletes in the years to come. To your seniors Jayden, Lance, Randy and Tobin good luck on your next journey in life.
