Still throwing a code after a new impeller, gear oil and thermostat. We will run a full diagnostic on it next week. But it is pumping water.

Rick worked on his Carlson today. Changed the spark plugs and gear oil in it. Checked compression and added a shinny s*...

He also cleaned it up really nice. Maybe I can get him to clean mine ???? 😂🫪😂

Bekah, Jerry and John worked on this 18 hp OMC today. Because the crank in the motor had a 3/4 - 3/8 drive socket braise...

Bekah, Jerry and John worked on this 18 hp OMC today. Because the crank in the motor had a 3/4 - 3/8 drive socket braised to it, and the driveshaft had been shortened. So they opted to swap power-heads and replace the mag plate, they came a long way on it today as you can see. And if all goes well it will be back together next week.

Good job guys. Glad we have been able to teach Jerry some things over the summer.

Mark called and said help!

He brought his boat up from Eugene, he said he hooked up the batteries and now nothing works. Said he hooked them up correctly, but when he hooked up the second battery lost all power. I told him before he brought it to look for a bad fuse near the solenoid, he said I’m bringing it to you. Lol,

We opened the tilt and trim release, dropped the motor, pulled out the blown fuse, put a new one in, tested the tilt and trim and the starter switch. Hood back on, trimmed up and he was ready to head back to Eugene. Great guy, glad to donate a 25 amp fuse and a few minutes to the cause.
