Beyond blessed. 🙏

That is the only way to describe how I feel about the sheer volume of work JP’s Bowling Academy & Pro Shop continues to take in.

To everyone waiting on an appointment: I appreciate your patience more than you know! Whether you're getting fitted for new equipment, repairing "Ole Faithful," booking a lesson, or grabbing accessories, I see you and I’m on it. 🛠️

As a one-man show who wears quite a few different hats around the bowling center, your patience, loyalty, and respect mean the absolute world to me.

It’s a rainy Saturday full of birthday parties here, and I am tucked away in the shop breathing new life into a ball for a VIP client.

This particular ball needed a plug job right over part of the original Roto Grip logo. So, I’m spending some time meticulously retracing the original logo back into the ball before it heads to the spinner for a complete resurface. We want to make it feel as brand new as possible. 🎳✨

🎳 WOW! The response to our Monday Night Youth-Adult League has been completely overwhelming! 🎳

The Monday league is officially FULL, and we actually had more teams sign up than we have lane space for! We feel incredibly blessed and are so excited to see this much enthusiasm for bowling from our local youth.

Because the demand is so high, we want your feedback! 📊

We are looking into adding a second Youth-Adult League on Saturdays at 11:00 AM! It will feature the exact same rules, giveaways, and awesome incentives as the Monday night league.

Here are the quick details:

👥 3-Member Teams: Must have at least one adult and at least one youth (the 3rd bowler can be either!).

💵 Dues: $15 a week per bowler (both youth and adults).

🍕 What's Included: This covers your weekly games, youth awards, kid incentives, and an end-of-season pizza party!

🎳 Bumpers are allowed since this is not a sanctioned league. We have had kids as young as 4 years old up to seniors in high school. We also have ramps available, for those who have a need.

👞 No charge for rental shoes during league play. We also have house bowling balls to use if your youth does not currently have their own ball.

🚨 Keep in mind, any new to the sport youth bowlers will receive a brand new bowling ball at the completion of the league. (Provided the bowler and their team are current on their league dues).

We are looking to sign up at least 6 teams to compete on Saturday mornings at 11am. The duration of the league will depend on when we are able to start.

📈 We need to gauge interest before moving forward! If you have a team that wants in the Saturday league, please let us know in the comments or send us a message so we can plan the next steps.

The Thursday Night Summer PBA Experience League starts tonight with a meeting at 7:00pm

League action will commence following the meeting.

🐻🎳 Thursday Night PBA League Alert: The Bear Has Been Released 🎳🐻

Attention bowlers:
Tonight’s oil pattern is The Bear.

For anyone unfamiliar, the Bear pattern is bowling’s way of asking, “How much do you really like this sport?”

Tonight, strikes may be rare, pocket hits may become philosophical discussions, and your ball reaction may seem to be governed by a committee rather than the laws of physics.

A friendly reminder:
✅ Making spares is important.
✅ Making spares is very important.
✅ Seriously, make your spares.

On a Bear pattern, the difference between a great game and a frustrating game is often not who throws the most strikes—it’s who remembers that the corner pin is not a decorative feature of the lane.

If you leave a 10 pin, shoot it.
If you leave a 7 pin, shoot it.
If you leave a washout… well, good luck and may the bowling gods smile upon you.

Remember: Everyone is bowling on the same condition. The Bear doesn’t care about your average, your favorite ball, or how many YouTube videos you watched this week.

Stay patient, trust your shots, make your spares, and try not to donate too many bowling balls to the gutter.

🎉 THAT’S A WRAP ON THE MONDAY NIGHT GET MOTIV-ATED LEAGUE! 🎉

This past Monday, we officially closed out an incredible season with our Championship Bonus Money Roll-Off and Awards Ceremony! 🏆💰

We created this league with a specific mission in mind: to welcome brand new bowlers to the sport, invite back those who haven’t thrown a ball in a minute, and provide a laid-back, fun atmosphere for some friendly competition. To help everyone level up, every single competitor received a brand-new bowling ball mid-season to hone their skills! 🎳✨

We want to give a massive shout-out to all of our teams, especially those who fought their way into the Roll-Off and took home the hardware:

🚨 IMPORTANT SUMMER LEAGUE SCHEDULE UPDATE 🚨

Attention bowlers!

Please note that our upcoming summer leagues will be kicking off one week earlier than originally scheduled. This shift is due to an unavoidable project timeline change here at the center, and we want to make sure everyone has plenty of time to adjust their calendars!

Here are your new official start dates:

Monday Night Summer Youth/Adult League ➡️ Starts June 1, 2026

Tuesday Night High Stakes League ➡️ Starts June 2, 2026

Wednesday Afternoon Seniors League ➡️ Starts June 3, 2026

📌 Please note: There are no changes to our Sunday Night or Thursday Night league schedules. They will proceed exactly as originally planned.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this shifting timeline may cause. We appreciate your flexibility and support more than you know as we work to keep improving the center for our bowling family!
