🎳 Back from the spa and ready to roll! 🎳

This ball was way past due for a serious revival. It was struggling to read the lane conditions consistently and desperately needed a freshening up.

We gave it the royal treatment: a complete top-to-bottom resurface, followed by a relaxing, hour-long "spa day" in our bowling ball revivor (aka the fancy oven) to bake out all that deep-down lane oil. 🧼🔥

It looks and feels brand new! We can't wait for this client to get their ball back in their hands and get right back to striking! 💥

Don't let a rut hold you back. 👊 Even the veteran bowlers have to get back to basics. 🎳

Complacency and frustration are the fastest ways to end up in a rut. That’s why JP is out on the lanes today, putting in the work to sharpen his game.

JP is putting in a heavy session today to shake off the rust and hone his skills. He’s currently using the Kegel Torch system to dial in his accuracy, hitting specific marks and simulating oil transition across a full 3-game set—just like a sanctioned competition. If you want to stay on top, you have to practice like you compete!

I try to make sure I collect serial numbers from equipment I order for clients.

I am not going to lie, I stopped immediately when I seen this one.

This particular client has had to adapt their game. They have aged, as we all do. They still throw a great ball but their ball speed is not what it used to be to be. They don’t have as much hand in the ball as they use to but it is quite a bit for no mare speed than they can generate now.

We have adapted some of their mechanics. We have significantly adapted by what equipment they throw. This client has had numerous honor scores throughout their career. It’s been a minute since the last one.

I never make guarantees when I drill a new ball. I can’t throw it for you. I can make you make good shots. It is on the bowler to do what they need to with the equipment. I can give pointers. I can tell you what I see and what I suggest you do.

With all that said, I am alsmost 99% sure this client’s next honor scores is looming. This ball has Wes Campbell’s stamp of approval on it.

He may be gone but we get signs every so often from folks special to us. I think this is a sign for this client. This client knew Wes very well and would often ask him what he thought before I took over the shop.

What a cool moment. That is all carry on.
