🚨Coaching Announcement🚨

We’re thrilled to welcome Coach Max Tissenbaum to the MVP Huskies staff!

A former Toronto Blue Jays draft pick (2012), Max enjoyed a successful professional career with the Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays, and Miami Marlins organizations. He reached Double-A, appearing in over 500 games as a versatile infielder and catcher, and was named a 2014 Florida State League All-Star.

Before his pro career, Max was a standout at Stony Brook University, where he helped lead the Seawolves to the 2012 College World Series. That season, he earned ABCA Third Team All-American and All-Northeast Region honors after hitting .343 with 68 hits and 43 RBIs.

Known for his elite baseball IQ, leadership, and attention to detail, Coach Tissenbaum brings a wealth of experience and a pro-level approach to player development — a huge addition to the Huskies family.

rahaman09 was lights out on the mound — 5.2 innings, 9 Ks, no earned runs to earn the win 💪

was named Game MVP, coming up clutch to close it out with 4 Ks for the save and adding a triple at the plate ⚾️🔥

delivered the game-winning RBI single, while .costa27 & each added hits for the Huskies 💥

We’re excited to welcome Anthony Fernández to the MVP Huskies Coaching Staff as our new Pitching Coach! ⚾️

Anthony brings years of professional experience, having pitched in the Seattle Mariners organization, climbing from Rookie Ball to Triple-A Tacoma. Known for his command, poise, and ability to develop arms, Anthony adds tremendous knowledge and experience to our program.

🏆 Career Highlights:
• Seattle Mariners Minor League Pitcher of the Year (Everett AquaSox, 2010)
• Northwest League All-Star (2010)
• Arizona League Post-Season All-Star (2009)
• 700+ professional innings pitched across all levels
