IT IS OFFICIALLY TREE CAMPING SEASON!!

My favorite time of the year! Go experience this while you can, as it is only available for part of the year. Definitely expand on your adventures this summer and sign up for a guided tree camping experience, camping at 300ft!

My personal favorite climbs and experiences at Tree Climbing at Silver Falls are the overnight ones. Don't hesitate to sign up for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, it is WELL worth it.

What are the requirements to be able to join our guided tree climbs?

- 8+ years old
- Tree canopy climbing is open to everyone of all physical abilities, strengths, or disabilities.
- The tree climbing technique we teach is basically doing squats. So if you can comfortably do full-body squats, you can probably do this activity.
- Participants who believe they do not have the physical ability/strength to climb with the manual hand/foot ascenders will have the option to purchase a battery-powered ascender to climb to the top of the canopy. $75 extra per person. We recommend considering this option for people who are considered obese or overweight.
- If you have any medical condition that could possibly affect the adventure, you must let us know. We will try to accommodate all participants as much as possible.

Tree root systems are SOO important!

Let's just say that again, SOOO important! Especially in old-growth forests, the roots hold each other together, helping each other in soooo many ways!

Old-growth forests are so special for just another reason! Being based in an old-growth forest, Tree climbing at Silver Falls has grown to be a part of this network (jk but over time, we totally feel how special it is). Come out to experience it yourself!

okay, let this be your sign to advocate for safe and eco-sound forest practice, whooohoo!! Go make your voice HEARD BAE!! You are doing so good at being a great person, keep it up!

Mushrooms are the KING of decomposing, there are mushrooms for everything and they came to be all on their own! They are the life of death, repurposing energy AND connecting the whole forest?

What is to be afraid of!! Except maybe that they will tell the whole forest what you did to that one tree. (lets hope you never snapped a twig off a branch, or ripped bark off, or a leaf off, or didn't dig a whole before you pooped, or you dropped a piece of trash...) *in a dark voice* " WE KNOW WHAT YOUV"E DONE"
