Do you want to look good for summer?
Summer is coming and a good looking body is built through the winter and spring. Depending on what you consider summer time there are about four to five months remaining to make a change to your body and your life - which happens to be just about enough time.
Process for getting a good looking body:
💪 Determine your goals. Be descriptive about what you want your body to look like and what it does for you. Quantify the weight you want to lose or the muscle you want to gain. Make it tangible.
💪 Identify your current nutrition. Take time to track what you eat for 3-5 days. Use an app such as MyFitnessPal or take photos of your food, or write it down on paper, etc. get an idea of what and how much you are eating.
💪 Determine your new nutrition plan that gets you to your goal. Adjust what you eat and how much to move towards your goal. This ties into the next step also.
💪 Resistance train 2 to 5 times a week. Don’t just workout, find a program that you can and will stick to and do it - make it challenging. No matter if you want to lose weight or gain muscle, resistance training is a must.
💪 Consistently track your progress/Be accountable. Continue to track your meals, weigh yourself several times a week to know if you are moving in the right direction, monitor how your clothes fit, track progressive overload in training, etc - this list is not exhaustive. Stay accountable to yourself and your goals. This could be hiring a coach or staying accountable to yourself or some other way.
