⛳ THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 THURSDAY MEN’S WBL LEAGUE! ⛳

What a season at Loggers Trail.

Over 17 weeks, we had 68 different golfers tee it up — and the scorecards produced some pretty impressive numbers:

🏆 6 eagles
🐦 180 birdies
⛳ 1,250 pars
😬 1,666 bogeys
😂 840 double bogeys
🤷‍♂️ 342 “others” — and we’ll respectfully leave those alone.

A few more fun facts from the season: #4 played as our toughest hole, #10 surrendered the most birdies with 26, #14 produced the most pars with 107, and five of our six eagles came on #16!

The numbers are fun, but they don’t tell the best part of the story.

68 golfers chose to spend their Thursday afternoons with us, bringing great competition, plenty of laughs, and a lot of camaraderie to Loggers Trail all summer long. We genuinely appreciate every one of you.

And remember — the league may be ending, but the golf doesn’t have to! 🍂 We think fall is the best time of year at the Trail, and we’ll continue offering WBL league rates on Thursdays throughout September.

⛳ THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 SENIOR FLEX LEAGUES! ⛳

What a season.

Between our Tuesday and Thursday Senior Men’s Flex Leagues, we had:

70 golfers
19 weeks
1,009 rounds played
18,162 hole scores recorded
507 birdies
5,776 pars
…and even 4 eagles along the way.

A few fun season facts:

🏆 Toughest hole: #17
🎯 Easiest hole: #14
🐦 Most birdies: #10 with 60
⛳ Most pars: #14 with 473

The numbers are fun, but the best part of the season was the group itself. Great competition, a lot of laughs, new friendships, familiar faces, and a bunch of mornings spent enjoying the game together at Loggers Trail.

To everyone who played on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or both — thank you. We truly appreciate your support, your feedback, your camaraderie, and the energy you brought to the course all summer long.

The official league season may be over, but the fall golf is just getting started.

💃⛳ ONE MORE ROUND — THE LAST DANCE! ⛳💃

Tomorrow morning, our Thursday Morning Ladies League tees it up one final time for the 2026 season!

30 ladies. 17 weeks. Countless laughs, friendships, and memories made at the Trail. ❤️

And the numbers tell some pretty fun stories from the season:

⛳ 120 pars
🐦 6 birdies
🎯 #3 was the easiest hole
😈 #10 was the toughest hole
😂 And plenty of bogeys, doubles, and “we’re never speaking of that hole again” moments along the way!

But the best statistic isn't on the scorecard. It's the group of women who showed up every Thursday morning, supported one another, welcomed new faces, enjoyed some friendly competition, and made this league such a fun part of our summer.

Tomorrow we finish with Week #17 – The Last Dance: Cha-Cha-Cha Finale, a 9:00 AM shotgun and one final morning together on the course.

A huge thank-you to all of our ladies for a fantastic season, and to Ross, our maintenance crew, and the entire Loggers Trail staff for all the early mornings and hard work that go into having both sides of the golf course ready for our leagues every Thursday.

🪓⛳ 2026 PAUL BUNYAN LEAGUE — BY THE NUMBERS!

Another Wednesday Paul Bunyan season is just about in the books at Loggers Trail, and we thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the numbers from another great summer with the Lumberjacks.

88 golfers registered.

21 weeks of Wednesday golf.

And over the course of the season, this group combined for:

🦅 6 Eagles
🐦 375 Birdies
⛳ 3,195 Pars
😬 4,517 Bogeys
🪓 2,104 Double Bogeys
😂 And 765 scores that we'll simply file under "other."

Hole #14 apparently treated the Lumberjacks pretty well — it played as the easiest hole on the course and surrendered a league-leading 48 birdies.

Hole #17? Not quite as friendly. It earned the title of toughest hole of the season.

One of our favorite numbers, though, has nothing to do with scoring:

💰 81 of 87 eligible golfers won league money at some point during the season!

That's exactly what we want from these leagues. Plenty of competition, lots of different games, and opportunities for just about everybody to have their day.

Most importantly, we had 88 guys choose to spend their Wednesdays with us at Loggers Trail this summer.

Thank you to every one of our Paul Bunyan Lumberjacks for another fantastic season. We appreciate you guys more than you know, and we're already looking forward to doing it all over again in 2027! 🪓🍻⛳

💗⛳ 2026 WEDNESDAY WOMEN’S LEAGUE — BY THE NUMBERS! ⛳💗

What a summer it has been at Loggers Trail!

34 women.
16 Wednesday mornings.
And a whole lot of golf, laughs, friendships, birdies, bogeys...and a few scores we’ll all agree never need to be discussed again. 😂

Over the course of the season, our Wednesday ladies combined for:

🐦 59 Birdies
⛳ 729 Pars
😬 1,878 Bogeys
😂 1,694 Double Bogeys
🤷‍♀️ 968 “Others”

And apparently not one eagle all summer. Come on, ladies — we’re going to have to work on that in 2027! 😂

Hole #10 officially earned the title of toughest hole, playing to a 7.07 average, while Hole #3 was the friendliest of the bunch at a 3.84 average.

But the number we care about most is 34.

That’s 34 women who chose to spend their Wednesday mornings golfing with us at Loggers Trail this summer, and we sincerely appreciate every one of you.

These leagues are about a lot more than scores. They’re about seeing friends every week, meeting new ones, enjoying a beautiful Minnesota summer and having a reason to look forward to Wednesday morning.

Thank you, ladies, for another fantastic 16-week season! 💗

🐂 WHAT A SEASON FOR THE BABE THE BLUE OX LEAGUE! ⛳

As we get ready to wrap up our 2026 Tuesday night league, we wanted to share a few numbers from another fantastic summer at Loggers Trail.

102 players.
21 weeks of golf.
90 different players earning league credit.

That means an incredible 88.2% of the entire league found their way into the money at some point this season! 💰

This afternoon, 102 golfers will officially wrap up the 2026 Tuesday Babe the Blue Ox League with our 18-hole season finale at Loggers Trail.

Before we send everybody out, we thought it would be fun to look back at what 21 weeks of Tuesday golf produced.

📊 2026 BY THE NUMBERS

🐂 102 players registered
📅 21 weeks of league golf
💰 90 different players earned league credit
👏 That’s 88.2% of the entire league getting into the money at some point!

And apparently, we hit a few decent golf shots along the way…

🐦 435 Birdies
⛳ 3,240 Pars
😬 4,411 Bogeys
😳 2,495 Double Bogeys
🤬 1,263 “Others” — we'll respectfully decline to investigate those any further. 😂

The league-wide scoring average finished at 91.99 for 18 holes.

🌲 THE TRAIL FOUGHT BACK

The hardest hole of the season was #4, the par 4 playing to a 5.41 average.

Right behind it was our par-3 #17, which averaged 4.36 and surrendered a grand total of THREE birdies all season. Apparently #17 woke up every Tuesday and chose violence. 😂

On the friendlier side, #14 was the easiest hole, playing to a 4.63 average. It also gave up a league-leading 59 birdies and tied #16 for the most eagles with three.

And our second-easiest hole? #18, with a 4.85 scoring average. At least we occasionally sent you guys home happy. 😂

⛳ 2026 MONDAY NIGHT LADIES LEAGUE — BY THE NUMBERS! 🎉

Well, ladies...

That's a wrap.

Seventeen Monday nights later, another season of the Loggers Trail Monday Night Ladies League is officially in the books.

And because Golf Genius keeps track of an absolutely ridiculous amount of information, we decided to dig through the numbers and find out exactly what you ladies accomplished this summer.

The results are... impressive. And occasionally concerning. 😂

👩 65 Awesome women were part of our league this season.

📅 17 Weeks of Monday Night Ladies League.

Seventeen excuses to leave work, ignore whatever needed to be done at home and head to the golf course instead.

We fully support this behavior.

⛳ 3,837 Holes of golf recorded throughout the season.

That's a LOT of golf.

🏌️‍♀️ Approximately 22,876 Golf shots taken.

🐦 47 BIRDIES! Apparently the back nine was the place to be, accounting for 38 of the 47 birdies.

😎 466 PARS Not bad at all!

Throw the birdies in there and that's 513 holes played at par or better.

We'll conveniently focus on those.

😬 1,170 BOGEYS

😳 1,078 DOUBLE BOGEYS

🙈 1,076 "OTHERS"

😈 TOUGHEST HOLE: #2

Our second hole officially takes the crown as the league's toughest hole of 2026.

Par 5. Average score: 7.41.

Hole #2 woke up every Monday and chose violence.

😇 FRIENDLIEST HOLE: #3

The easiest hole statistically was our little par-3 third hole.

Average score: 4.37.

Although "friendliest" might be generous considering not one single birdie was recorded there all season.

Apparently #3 wasn't that friendly.

🐦 BIRDIE CAPITAL: #10 & #16

Both holes surrendered 8 birdies, the most of any hole on the course.

We appreciate their cooperation.

❤️ BUT HERE'S THE NUMBER THAT MATTERS MOST...

65.

Sixty-five women chose to be part of this league.

You showed up on Mondays. You brought friends. You laughed. You competed. You played our ridiculous games. You hit great shots and terrible shots. You won some money. You lost some golf balls.

And hopefully somewhere along the way, you had a hell of a lot of fun.

That's really what this league is supposed to be about.

Thank you for spending 17 Monday nights with us at Loggers Trail.

Thank you for another fantastic season.

And thank you for making the Monday Night Ladies League what it is.

🎂⛳ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COACH!

There aren’t many people who have been a bigger part of Loggers Trail over the last two decades than Andy Keykal.

Around here, we call him Coach… but Captain Utility might be even more accurate. 😂

Junior camps, lessons, group instruction, mowing greens, painting, checking golfers in, making lunch — if something needs to be done at the Trail, there’s a pretty good chance Andy has done it.

More importantly, Andy has been one of those people who has simply always been there. Twenty years of helping kids learn the game, taking care of the course, helping our golfers, and doing whatever it takes to make Loggers Trail a better place.

We wouldn’t be where we are today without him.

So today, help us wish Coach Andy Keykal a VERY Happy Birthday! 🎉

We’re incredibly lucky to have you, Coach. Here’s to another trip around the sun — and probably another 37 different job duties tomorrow. 😂🍻⛳
