We have officially wrapped up the 2026 season! We had the championship game last night between Sauder Trucking and Sandlot Merchants, and the offenses did not disappoint! Sauders put up 3 runs in the 1st inning and Sandlot responded with 3 of their own. Sauders got another 2 in the 2nd, followed by another 3 in the 3rd to take an 8-3 lead. The continued with the pressure, adding 1 in the 4th and another 4 in the top of the 5th to make it 13-3. Sandlot rallied though in the 5th and scored 6 runs to keep the game going, making it 13-9. Sauders continued to slug the ball, and scored another 3 in the 6th. They held Sandlot in the bottom of the 6th won the game 16-9.

Congratulations to Sauder Trucking on winning the 2025 and the 2026 Stevens League Playoffs!

Sauders Most Outstanding Pitcher Award went to Kenny Newswanger! Kenny started 3 games and won all 3 games (including both championship games), throwing 22.2 innings. He also picked up 30 strikeouts along the way.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Sauder's catcher, Matt Zimmerman! Matt had a .625 average throughout the playoff run with 10 hits, along with 6 RBI's. He had the walkoff hit against Bear Bottom Lodge to get them back into the finals. He proceeded to hit for the cycle in the championship game as well.

Big thank you to everyone involved in making the 2026 season a success. We want to give a special shoutout to Todd Bergman for all of the hardwork and effort that he puts into facility. Also, thank you to Vicki Sweigart for being at the field almost every night to run our foodstand. Huge thank you to both of you.

Thank you to all of the fans who come out and support the league, making a lot of the nights more special. We are excited to be returning in 2027!

Another great night on the field!

#5 Bear Bottom Lodge faced off against #2 Sauder Trucking. BBL and Sauders got 1 run a piece to start off the game. BBL took a 2-1 lead in the 2nd inning. The game stayed scoreless then, even with both teams getting runners on. In the bottom of the 6th, Sauders got things rolling again as they tied up the game at 2-2. It came down the 7th, BBL had a solo shot to give them a 3-2 lead. Sauders came back, and got runners on 2nd and 3rd. With 2 outs, Sauders had a single up the middle to score both runs! Sauders 4-3 and advanced to the championship series against Sandlot Merchants!

We had the 1st championship game afterwards. Sandlot took a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning. Sauders tied it in the 2nd. Both teams made big defensive plays throughout the game, but in the 5th, Sauders got another rally going and scored 2 to go up 3-1. Sandlot got runners on but couldnt push any across as Sauders won game 1, 3-1.

The final game is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15th at 7:15 PM! It is between #2 Sandlot Merchants and #2 Sauder Trucking! Who is going to take home the trophy?!

We are onto our final 3 teams! #5 Bear Bottom Lodge will face #2 Sauder Trucking!

The loser will place 3rd and the winner will play again, right away, against #1 Sandlot Merchants for the championship series ("if" game is scheduled for Tuesday next week)

It was a beautiful night for Stevens Playoff action! Let's start with the #5 Bear Bottom Lodge and #3 Rays. BBL lead off the game getting 2 runs in the 1st inning. Rays came right back and tied up the game. In the 3rd and 4th, BBL got a run in each to take a 4-2 lead. In the 5th, Rays pieced together another run to shorten the lead. It came down to the 7th, BBL scored an insurance and then held the Rays to win the game 5-3.

In the undefeated game, we had #2 Sauder Trucking and #1 Sandlot Merchants. Sauders scored the 1st run of the game in the 3rd inning and then took a 2-0 lead in top of the 5th with a solo shot. Sandlot rallied in the bottom of the 5th to tie it up at 2 a piece. In the 7th, Sandlot held Sauders and then walked the game off with a solo homerun to win 3-2.

With Rays taking a 4th place finish, we are down to 3 teams left. Tonight, at 6:45, #5 Bear Bottom Lodge will face #2 Sauder Trucking. The winner will play afterwards against the awaiting, #1 Sandlot Merchants.

Game 2 is an elimination game between #5 Bear Bottom Lodge and #3 Rays!

We are down to 4 teams left! In the 1st game last night. #6 RM Kurtz Enterprise faced #5 Bear Bottom Lodge. Kurtz put up the 1st run of the game in the 2nd inning, but BBL came back right away and scored 5. Kurtz was able to get 1 more run but BBL put up another 4 then. In the 5th, BBL held Kurtz to win 9-2.

In game 2, #4 Precise went up against #3 Rays. It took until the 3rd inning for Precise to put up the 1st run but Rays took over from there. Scoring 5 in the bottom of the 3rd, and another in the 5th. In the 6th, Rays walked it off to win 9-1.

Tonight, at 6:45 PM, we have the undefeated game! #2 Sauder Trucking vs #1 Sandlot Merchants. Game 2 will be between #5 Bear Bottom Lodge and #3 Rays. The winner of game 2 will face the loser of game 1 in our 1st game on Thursday. The late game Thursday will be the 1st round of the championship!

We were able to get 2 playoff games in Thursday night. #5 Bear Bottom Lodge faced #1 Sandlot Merchants. The game started Tuesday night with Sandlot picking up a 4-0 lead before the rain hit. When it resumed Thursday, Sandlot scored 2 more in the 4th. In the 7th, BBL rallied together and started a comeback. They got 4 runs until Sandlot held them. Sandlot won 6-4 to advance to the undefeated game. BBL lodge will play Tuesday in elimination night.

In game 2, #3 Rays went against #2 Sauder Trucking. Both teams scored 1 run in the 1st inning to start things off. Later on though, Sauders put up 3 in the 3rd and another 2 in the 5th to take a 6-1 lead. Rays got 1 back in the 7th but Sauders held afterwards to advance.

Next week, on Tuesday, we will have our elimination night. At 6:45 PM, #5 Bear Bottom Lodge will take on #6 RM Kurtz Enterprise. In the late game, we have #4 Precise facing #3 Rays.

On Wednesday, we start off with the undefeated game between #2 Sauder Trucking and #1 Sandlot Merchants. The late game will be an elimination game between the Tuesday night winners.
