Rounding out the collection of CFST August birthdays today is...BROOKE! Brooke is one of the happiest, genuinely nicest skaters we know. She is usually smiling and is amazingly coachable - so important for any skater. She never fails to end her lesson with a big smile and a sincere "Thank you". Brooke takes something out of every single lesson and applies it toward the next one, improving and learning her way up the ladder. Brooke's goal is to compete this season, and we definitely see that happening for her. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKE - enjoy this next year and chapter of your life! ☀️🎂🍨🛼🥇🧡💙

Birthdays! Birthdays! MORE Birthdays! Today we celebrate Gaea, another of our CFST role models who has skated with us for close to 3 seasons. Gaea brings the purest happiness and joy to every single practice. She is one of the most conscientious skaters in the club, never failing to work each and every event she skates during every single practice. Gaea qualified for Nationals for the first time this summer, and made the final cut holding first place (no surprise to us!) How's that for an entrance? The medal placement was not to be this time, but her competitive spirit is strong and she is coming for new challenges and higher events for 2027. Happy Birthday Gaea! Here's to great things coming your way!

Happy Birthday Sydni! Syd has been part of our team for several seasons now, and anyone who is lucky enough to skate with her knows that they have a built-in friend and cheerleader. Sydni brings positivity and determination to her lessons, and like so many on our team, is an outstanding role model to both seasoned skaters as well as new skaters coming up behind her. Sydni is entering her final semester at UMW to be followed by a year of internships! Happy, happy birthday Sydni~! Keep on spreading the skating joy!
